There are some really good games tonight along with the Rockets game. Mavs/Lakers and Spurs/Jazz. Man, I have no idea who i want to lose more.
I suppose I have to go ahead and swallow my pride. That being said... go mavs I should be rooting for the Jazz as well, but my inner Rocket says no. Then again, it's the Spurs. Man, I don't know...
we need lakers and spurs to take the top 2 seeds. so hornets can drop to 3 because more than likely we are going to be the 5th/6th seed.
GSW @ MEM -- gsw needs to win so they can get in. denver needs to go out since we won't be playing them. NYK @ NOH -- needs to lose SAS @ UTA -- spurs need to win MIN @ PHX -- dont know.. DAL @ LAL -- lakers need to win HOU @ SEA -- we must win! so EVERYONE in the top 8 is playing except denver...
we are not going to get the top 3 seeds. utah is going to be 4th. they need to have a worse record than us so if we end up in 5th...we still have home court. that is more of a situation than us gettin 1-3.
In this case it's ok to root for Utah, because nothing really changes for them if they win. They're pretty much locked into that 4th seed, now our best hope to get a good matchup is to overtake San Antonio/New Orleans to get into the top 2 or 3 teams. Root against those two teams for the rest of the year no matter who they play.
damn utah is really really good at home. but man, they really really are mediocre on the road. at home, they are just toying with the spurs right now
It is a big night. Certainly it is easy to pick NO and PHX to lose. I would think it would be better for us for the Mavs and Utah to win?? The last one is easy - Rockets all the way.
Man, i'm still having problems deciding which way to go. LOL, I guess i'll just let the dust settle. The Jazz losing will help Rockets get homecourt if they get fifth seed, but I really hate to see Spurs win for any reason! Lakers losing would be great, but Dallas winning will make them feel better about themselves. Basically, I just hate other Texas teams.

Interesting. Pop was pissed for how the Spurs played and benched the starters in 3rd quarter. Tough message for a 20 pts loss!?
I actually hope Dallas wins tonight, because if they do, we're techincally still have a shot at 2nd to 3rd place. If we play the Lakers would like to have the benefit of home court. And they don't look to great tonight.
Game 1 against the Orlando Magic, we were down by 20 as well. Came back and won that one to build momentum for a 4 game sweep and the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
