These guys need to play. Struggling with the 3's? Throw Novak out there....
Need a change of tempo? Give Brooks some run...... Landry's knee suspect? Give me some immediate finishing with Mike Harris.......

The major difference I see when these guys come in is that they are excited to be out there. The adrenaline they bring picks up everyone and these guys have the skills as well to back it up.

We may not have a realistic shot at winning big this year, so why not go out firing on all cylinders? These young players could really benefit from some playoff intensity situations, and this might put us in the right direction going into the offseason.......win or lose.

I think our core guys might be wearing down a bit, Can we be revitalized with a bit more expanded bench?

I like the rotation RA put out there tonight, Brooks brought some quickness off the bench and the offence didn't skip a beat. The team looks fresh when you rotate some live bodies in and out of the line up.Brooks, Novak ,Mike Harris (the bench brigade)keep the fight alive. We need to find out who abducted Carl Landry I miss those monster dunks.

Mike Harris should definitely be out there when Scola and Landry are struggling.
AB0 made me happy today. He needs to keep it up to regain his confidence.
Novak also needs to get out when there are mismatch opportunities to shoot.

Novak should play when deke is out there at times. The problem is je will struggle when guys take him into the post like they were doing scola last night. Harris is another small 4 that will struggle against long 4's. I do agree brooks should play more. They should sign reuben patterson and cut harris. At least tracy and shane can get some rest. They're going to run tracy into the ground.

I don't think AB lost his confidence, but RA did. Hopefully he can be rewarded with some minutes after last night's play.

But I agree, Landry looks lost out there. He's not 100%. Harris needs to be out there getting more minutes.

I've been saying that all along. I just wish it would happen! Novak can spread the floor and AB can definitely change the tempo of the game.

These guys provide energy. It's really frustrating to see our weapons not being utilized.

I would like to see Harris more often than Hayes at some points.....get him some run.....

I think Hayes is on a one year contract, I would be shocked if they sign him for the same money again.....and would not be shocked if they just let him go all together.

Chuck has a 4 year contract. I'm confident that at least 3 are guaranteed. It's a long contract, but not for much ( around 2 mil/per, I think.) Chuck signed it because it's insurance.

more AB, more Novak, and more Harris... even if they only get a few minutes, different looks and fresh legs go a long way

I disagree with that. I think Chuck is worth $2 million and is good value at that salary.

I think alot of it has to do with the lineups and matchups. I think you put AB out there in similar lineup to the ones last night and you get an instant boost in your offense because the defense has to guard him.

You have to watch when you play Novak too. I don't think Harris adds much that we really need. Unless its just someone we need to guard a bigger SF.

Not if he can't shoot......IMO, he is a defensive stopper only and with Landry and Scola on the roster and Mike Harris, it diminishes Chuck's value considerably.

Yeah, In terms of cap space, once you get under $3 mil you're really splitting hairs for a rotation player IMO. That's in the rookie salary range and there are plenty of rookies who contribute less than him.

The bench really came out and upped the tempo last night, led by Aaron and Luther. Carl looks like he's hit the rookie wall a bit, which is to be expected. It was a good sign to see Aaron run the offense pretty well last night and hold his own on defense, as well as knock down some shots. I'm confident that if Aaron spends another year watching Bobby Jackson he will be a great player in this system.

But.........all of those guys are lacking defensively. Scola is the best of the 3 and the best you can say is he is adequate in a defensive scheme with another defender and a big man that can rotate and help him. The other two guys, Landry and Harris, while I like both of them a lot, they are horrible defenders. They can stop nobody. Where else are you going to get what Chuck gives this team, that is to say, a top 10 defender in the NBA for $2 million???? Chuck is a defensive stopper, and a very good rebounder. If you could glue the defensive half of him to the offensive half of Scola into one player, that player would be worth over $10 million per season. Look at what the top defenders in this league make. He's a bargain.

I really think AB should play more. I was impressed with him last night. And since Landry is struggling, let's see more of Harris. I agree.
