By the way, Thanks for the translation pryuen. As you can see no matter what, the people with no logic in their brains will always be like that. I can see why McGrady never cares about what people say.
and late in the season too... I'm starting to agree with my brother who thinks that tmac trusts his teammates too much and that the team would be more successful if he looked to win on his own and used some of the scrub type players on our team to just pick up his dribble. P.S. My brother's a lakers fan (go figure, huh)
My concern with McLady is this, if his teammates are helping him more and taking the pressure of him. Then why doesn't he play better defense and rebound more. The guy is 6'9" with crazy hops.
more more more, give me more more more You can't even appreciate what you have and you're asking for more. Man your life is going to be frustrating, watch and see.
Misunderstood Tracy?? Hardly. His actions speak louder than his words. McGrady needs to shut up and grow a pair.
Thanks for the translation pryuen. You're a true champ on these forums There's no question he does the training. You can't do what he does without it. I would have to say the negativity towards comes from mis-quotes and the like. The media can be a real b**** in that regard, as can the fans unfortunately. In regards to trusting team mates, I think that's the hard thing for him at this point in time. I'd say he'd prefer to lose as a team, then lose as a one-man show, and vice-versa. Considering that's how teams win in the playoffs and the finals, and I don't see why people can complain. Considering the way the season has gone to date, I think it's all good. E.g. two rookies starting to make a mark, but still needing some time to develop and become familiar with the league. Some playoff experience should definitely help them for next season. I could go on, but I should get back to doing some work...
yes despite him being ultra aggressive to start out against one of a top 3 defenses in the L and dunked on their arses. his jumper is just beyond awful right now. he's in a 6-game slump right now (outside of the warriors game). that's not mentally soft for not making your jumpers. he just has to get that jumper back and hopefully it starts tonight.
Yea peope are really stupid i agree with you. Bottom line is this season has been like 1 big giant preseason and we win the games we are supposed to win. What matters most is who brings it to the playoffs and Tracy brings it to the playoffs there is no doubt about it. He is a proffesional athlete and top 10 tallent. There is alot more about Tracy during the regular season as apposed to what he does in the playoffs than what the eye meets. And believe me most of this has to do with Adelman finding right mixes and only T-Mac has helped him best to accomplished this with out Yao because these 2 been here the longest then Mutombo helped him coach a little defense as well. Without Tracy then Adelman is less likely to tell what players do well and what they dont do well in order to gear up for the playoffs.
There is a huge difference between being soft, and being injury prone. McGrady.......IMO is injury prone........not being durable is not a direct translation to being a pussie. T-Mac talk is such a waste of time, kind of like talking about Obama.........you either love him or hate him.....and no one is going to convince anyone else to change their opinion of him. Mac haters will shut their yappers again when the Rockets go on their little 6 game tear against soft teams, and Mcgrady plays well, then they will resurface after a blow out loss to phoenix at home........and everything will be McGrady's fault once again, forget the other 14 players.
McGrady doesn't understand what it means to be a true winner. I'll compare him to MJ. When MJ's team needed to win or playing catch up, he drives to the basket and goes for the high percentage shot and would catch a foul or three point play along the way. TMac runs to the three point line and jacks it up. Even if he drives and gets fouled, he'll only make one free throw or miss both. MJ, when the game is on the line, he would not miss... result is 6 championships. TMac jack it up style = 0. What differentiates a true winner from just a winner? The true winner is determined not to lose. TMac is good but losing is an acceptable proposition to him.
