That's what she said. If anything BJ is gonna be more of a stabilizer in the playoffs. He will be our Jason Terry in the playoffs, mark my words. Either that or our Keanu Reeves.

Buck Fonzi, the guy was trash, unreliable, and couldn't play defense or hit a free throw and he flat out QUIT on the team last year.

    GOOD RIDDANCE !!

We added much needed depth at the PG, got rid of Mike James' contract and got Jackson's expiring contract for next year.

All that for Bonzi. Who I don't think would've made more of an impact than Jackson for us.

BJax isn't any better than Head if his shot is off. I cringe when he dribbles it. Looks like he's holding a ping pong paddle in each mitt and trying to bounce it with the two paddles. I'd rather have Brooks in there if his shot is off.

The trade is purely related to financial decision. There is also a lot ppl saying that if Yao is out we won't be contending so why need to bother to get a back up center and also a back up PG (though we thought about that before Yao got hurt). If getting BJackson is for improving PG depth (which is true) but since we are not contending, developing AB is also a good option which is now hindered. Here some questions that we need to ponder

1). Even if Yao comes back next season, do we need a backup center like Woods if Deke is still onboard?
2). Do we welcome back Bonzi if he opt to join us a an affordable price?
3). Do we resign BJackson to retain our PG depth?

The Bonzi trade decision is only undisputed from the financial point of view.

The female fans didn't think Bonzi Wells was cute, so they got Bobby Jackson who is a stud in looks.

I guess my problem is, u have no backup for ur most valuable player, tracy. If u ask me which player needs to be fresher, i'll say tracy any day. If the rox are in win tommorrow mode, why are we stunting brooks development? I refer to the spurs post avery johnson.

In 02 they drafted 19 yr old tony parker. Now mind u they already had their pg of the future in antomio daniels circa top 5 draft pick. The Spurs, a team that was former world champ 3 yrs prior traded daniels, started parker and signed claxton. They won the title, parker has gotten better every yr and daniels is a solid backup.

The reason why I brought that up is for a team that hasn't won jack, is too busy trying to win a ring to develop a young player. Yet we had to watch hayes miss layup after layup while he develop. Since were setting up for next yr, why not keep bonzi and play brooks? James has 1 extra yr than jacson. Bonzi is free after this season. I didn't see the problem in brooks playing 14mins per since we're not trying to win this yr anyway.

BTW, u can miss me on the whole idea to give landry more time. They don't even play the same position. I feel better with bonzi backing up tracy and shane than head and jackson. Very confusing.

Then again, it's not always about backing up your MVP.

With all due respect, Parker did start in his 2nd year. But the Spurs had great role player's back then like S-Jax, Steve Kerr, Bruce Bowen, Kevin Willis and a fellow rookie, Manu Ginobili.

My point is, the Spurs had two stars then, The Admiral (forever owned by the Dream!) and Tim Duncan. By no means was there a suitable "backup" for them (unless you want Malik Rose and Mengke Bateer as your backups).

My point is, I guess the Rockets were going more for depth, rather than one big back up who can fill in for T-Mac. And it would have worked if Yao were still around.
