Interesting that Cat said EG is more of a 3 than a 4.....I don't see him ever being an effective 3 b/c he does not have the lateral quickness to stay w/ most opposing 3's out on the perimeter. And I don't buy the popular notion on this board that the 2 forward spots are interchangeable in the new evolving game - it still comes down to mismatches and more than 1/2 the opposing teams will have an automatic one on us if Griffin in flanked with another PF in the frontcourt.

There will be a speed mismatch in favor of the opposing team, but a size advantage in favor of the Rockets. If all you needed was a speed advantage, teams would just play five PGs.

 

Everyone here thinks the 4 position is interchangable with the 3 or the 5.

There is a 4 position, because it is different than the 3 and the 5. Duh.

Yet, people think a PF can always play SF or C.

 

I think its only 1 or 2 players that can play the 3,4,5 positions effectively, Garnett and Dirk and thats only part time. Eddie is a 4 no matter how you cut it. I don't care what weight he gains or how much he grows, i don't think he has the mentality to play the 5 all the time. The 5 is just a position you want to play.

DamN!! I go to the Ling & Javier bar in Hotel Derek once in a while, I last went there on Thursday night. It seems like a place the rockets would hang out. Lots of nice looking women there.

What night was this?? How is that place on Saturday nights??
I'm there usually on Thursday or as an early venture on Fridays.
Its not really easy to pick up women there, unless of course you're a rocket, but its a good place to go with a date or a group of friends.

I used to bump into a lot of the Rocks at PF Changs after the games. I bought them a round of drinks a few times, and those guys are predators with the women. One time I had a girl i was seeing and some of her friends, all of which are pretty good looking, and the Rockets (Shandon, Cuttino and Some Guy I didn't know) were hanging out and asking my about the girls with me, I told them which one I was seeing and that the rest were all theirs, yet Shandon actually still tried to flirt with the girl I was seeing. But later one of the girls told me Cuttino had asked for her number to invite us all to a party!!! And she said she had a boyfriend and couldn't give her number to him!!

I was steaming!! I take these tramps out, treat them nicely, and they turn down my chance to go party with the Rockets at one of their houses!! Thats s ho!

 

I gotta say it's pretty lame to see all the derogatory ways women are named/depicted sometimes on this bbs.
