I'd say the Spurs are the team to beat.

They are the defending champs. They have no key injuries. They are the hottest team in the West right now.

I have to say: when Rafer, Tmac play like this, build brak building, it is painfull to watch.

Raick A. should play AB and this will give Rafer some pressure and he at least can hit more than Rafer today.

Why RA not give Novak, AB some time these days? save for PlayOff?

I can see tmac's effort but I really don't like it in this way. I prefer to save his some energy for 4th q and hit a high percent jumper.

When play suns, RA is totally wrong, he should use someone to front Shaq and D others very hard.

That was ugly. I stopped to watch after 3rd quarter. I am sure that we would have beat them with Yao there.

The Spurs aren't that big of a team, not like the Suns. That isn't what beat us.

The Spurs just came out at peak form tonight and we were struggling with defending their perimeter shots. They were also shooting abnormally well.

At the same time, we weren't hitting our shots.

With the Spurs hot, McGrady/Alston struggling with their shooting and our lack of perimeter defense, it was a bad recipe.

Let's see. McGrady sucked, Rafer sucked, and the Spurs were red-hot with their shooting. Nothing you can do.

I'm more worried about McGrady and Rafer. Those two are very inconsistent as of late and it pains me that our entire team's success rests on those two. McGrady has a worn-out shoulder and Rafer is still Rafer. We better pray they turn it around come playoff time.

Tmac just said in the post-game interview that their plan was to keep the spurs out of the paint and to make them take jumpers, unfortunately they were red-hot in the perimeter. He also admitted that we didn't play well either offensively or defensively.

I think the Rockets need to seriously consider resting Tracy to get ready for the playoffs. If Mac is hobbled like he was today for the rest of the season and then going into the playoffs, he's not doing the team any good.

The Rockets are in fine shape.

They've got a fairly easy schedule ahead and have a chance to play the Jazz, Hornets, or even unhealthy Lakers team.

I think the Spurs are about to shoot straight to #1 and have either the Suns or Hornets/Lakers behind them. Throw Utah in there....I think everything will be good, because I doubt we fall to 7th or 8th.

What's wrong recently? Two most inconsistent shooters, T-Mac and Rafer took high number of the shots in almost every game. It is not a team basketball any more, the result is based on how these two shoot the ball. We have to change it RIGHT NOW?

you're right. because no team would trade their superstar for this fragile one. McGrady is a great player but it just doesn't seem like he puts it all out on the court every night.

Rockets were not healthy today. TMac is not 100% but the media will not down play the Spurs win because they are the Spurs, but when the Rockets were winning is was because a key player was injured or did not play for the other team. The Rockets need to get back to the motion offense and the D that carried them through 22 wins. I still believe they will get it together, just 9 more games. Go Rockets!!

Looking back, that January game was a pretty weird game. The Spurs were on like a six-game losing streak. We had Head and Bonzi Wells starting and Battier and McGrady, who was returning from an injury, coming off the bench. Battier and McGrady ended up playing more minutes than the two starters, and we won by two points.

Oops, one correction. Spurs had lost four of six, not six straight. Still, a mighty big slump for them.
