Yeah that team had heart. This one does not. We're the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the NBA.

very nicely put. it just looks like our defensive intensity wasnt there from the beginning. i think not starting battier didnt help the case either. and also screw mark jackson...the entire game he bashed the rockets. its just really frustrating seeing the rockets play like this. its ok if they shoot bad but at least show some heart guys.

THE formula for losing any game. When Rafer and TMac shoot like this, forget about it. The team doesn't have the overall talent to overcome a brickfest.

The Rockets are respectable now. They beat the teams they're supposed to, as compared to falling to scrubs. For me that's infinitely preferable to falling to teams like Philly and Memphis. Against the elite they sometimes falter. Not too surprising given their injury problems.

I might be mistaken but I believe we lost both games to Philly this year.

I love the Rockets through and through, but what happened to the passion? Everyone just looks really flustered.

no one's ever believed we can beat SA. during the streak, once yao went down no logical person thought we could take SA. they have an awesome big and they're a more lock-down version of ourselves... great D, great pick and rolls, veteran leadership, great hustle. plus they're gonna get all the calls

the teams we can beat are NO, denver, GS. and those series will be tough as hell.

we have a chance versus LA, mavs and utah but will probably not win

the Spurs and suns are especially bad matchups w/no yao ming. we could play them 10 times and lose all 10 series

    no it aint

i'd be pretty pissed too when all of the opponents' shots are going in even though they were bad shots

    1) SAS not missing
    2) Yao and Francis gone
    3) Bonzi gone via Les' salary dump
    4) Tmac nursing a sore shoulder

If you looked at the schedule 6 months ago and said these factors would come into play on March 30, would anyone really have expected us to win this game??

I don't see the Rockets having played that bad today.

The Spurs were hitting tough shots in the 1st half. Take away 4 or 5 of those makes and it's an 8 point game right now.

If Rafer or T-Mac hits a few more shots, it's a tie game or we are winning.

We haven't had TO problems and we are getting to the line.

This is just one of those games where an experienced team came out at the top of their game.

Can't really win if the opponents team 4th option is scoring 20 a game. we'd be sitting pretty if luther had like 20 this game. At least a lot closer anyways...

the tmac pull-up 3 in the early offense, one of the great high-percentage shots in nba history.

tmac's answer to every possible momentum changing possession is to jack up the early 3. he maybe makes 10% of them.
