McGrady has missed every jump shot + 2 layups + 1 dunk.

i find that hard to believe. finley is cold blooded. plus our perimeter defense is a joke. theres no problem shooting over 6 ft sg's.

they might be hot but we're making it easy for them, Finely was wide open on that last ****, this is the NBA, guys are supposed to hit wide open shots.

Like Phoenix did? Fighting back from a 17 point deficit against the Spurs won't be fun even if they cool off significantly.

Sure... but with a 17 point lead, they can come back down to earth and still be up 5-7.

Rafer is a TJ Ford clone minus the speed, which means he is useless.

Without Yao, our mismatch against the Spurs is gone; notice how we are not getting a lot of 3 point shots like we usually do. Yao also abuses Duncan (both on offense and D).

SA may be the toughest place to play in NBA. Everything favors the Spurs, including officating.

we're lookin to drive more tonight. we're not settling for outside shots. a lot of our misses have been in the paint. tmac can get us wide open 3s all night. but i think we want to make a concerted effort to drive but not getting calls.

and yao doesn't abuse duncan. they often cancel out.

and the spurs are just hot. on THREE JUMPERS THEY GOT THE SHOOTERS' BOUNCE, ARE U KIDDING ME

it only seems like there is no energy because they are making shots. the rockets are playing very hard

Seems like a perfect storm of circumstances working against the Rockets right now...missing layups on their end, Spurs making just about everything at the other, benefit of calls to a degree and yes bad defense.

They need to try and pull the game to within 10 at the half, then come out in the third with a little more pressure. Spurs can't shoot at such a high clip the whole game, without or without hands in their faces.

This is the downfall of having played against so many piss-poor teams lately.

They expect the same sort of effort should translate... when it clearly doesn't. Teams like the Spurs don't miss all their wide open shots when they're gift-wrapped for them. They also don't leave our guys wide open at random.

Is there some Ginobli rule where anyone he makes contact with is charged with a foul?
