Someone gets his Nissan GT-R stolen Posts pictures, details of the car on a car forum Members of the forum find the car, takes a picture of the thief Finds thief's facebook page, workplace, contact info etc. Several forum members spot the car in a parking lot, box it in and call the police. Thief is caught, thread is awesome. http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?threadid=212943&perpage=40&highlight=&pagenumber=1 I read all 42 pages of the thread in one go.
someone saw the kid driving around, got a pic of him, followed him to the neighborhood he lives in. they knew about the high school closest to that neighborhood, searched that school on FB
saw that gif in a wrestling forum. looks like New Japan midgets. man, i want to bump this thread. it needs more views. i started to read it at work at the end of the day.
Freaking unbelievable. Wierd thing is how it kind of brought together car groups from different makes and models, countries, states, etc. Because if there's one thing any great car group has in common with other car groups...it's their hatred towards thieves like this moron.
While I'll agree that this was a great thread, the enormity of reading 42 pages was quite lacking. There needs to be a thread editor for all "phenomenal" threads. There's always too many dumbasses stating how awesome it is.
Wow! just Wow! It's amazing how this brought strangers (who are passionate about the same thing) together! if something happens to my property to this magnitude I know exactly where to come after I file a report... Clutchfans!! and this goes for not just me but anyone on this board! Let your fellow clutchfans brothers and sisters help you out if possible in times of need. I'm sure clutchfans would be willing to help you out!
How stupid can you be for stealing a Skyline GTR of all the cars out there. The old ones were never sold in the US. You had to import them yourself.
How do you steal a car and not expect to get caught? Anyways, here is another internet ownage thread. Basically, some kid hacks a forum and deletes parts of the forum, members get pissed, find out all his info and the fun begins....... http://forum.ebaumsworld.com/showthread.php?t=238178
No doubt you're more likely to see a Ferrari driving down the road. To top it off he cruised around the town all day then parked it in front of his house on the street.
Man, I just got done reading all 58 pages of that thread. Just f'n brilliant. everything about that thread is what's great about the internet...
