I think we should get use the fact that tmac will not become a high rate shooter.

But we also should realize that tmac could help rockets in other ways. Anyway, tmac should be always treated as the core of this team as long as he stay here and he deserve all respect from his teammates and fans.

Please, don't bash him any more. It wouldn't help the team. And it will destroy the team chemistry.

Maybe because this is a T-MAC thread. I only mentioned Jordan and Clyde to strength my point, and because I was sure everyone could reference Jordan and Clyde since most of us still remeber the 94-95 championship. Plus Kobe still has a lot of game left in him and can always get to the rack at anytime.

It's good to see some rocket fans brave enough to bring this up with so many tracy.only.fans in this forum.

what if those 4th Q shots didn't go in? would he say that he didn't impose his will after the game?

what happened to his will in the Boston game? he was supposed to step up, but instead he stepped away from the challenge. Simply put, he got stepped on by the Celtics.

so you chose a bad game he played and disregarded the great games he played v. the great teams (new orleans? dallas? utah?)

dude, players can have bad games, even the great ones.

T-mac has listened way too much to the media that he mimics them. It's alright if a commentator says that t-mac imposed his will on the game, but when someone says it about himself, it reveals a lack of self-confidence--as if he needs to convince himself.

People who have self-confidence don't feel the need to boast like t-mac. They either tell it like it is or they tend on the humble side.

t-mac1 you didn't answer my questions so please do so now.

What channel do the Rockets games come on? Because maybe I am not getting the same games that you get!? This years Tracy is not even almost as good as last years Tracy. How can he carry us in the playoffs when he could not carry us last year? I hate to bust your bubble buddy but McGrady's game and career are both on the downward spiral. Again this is not the same guy that we expected to get when we traded Francis. This is not the Orlando Magic Tracy McGrady. If you know anything about basketball then all you would know this without me having to tell you this. When an average guard first comes into the league most are able to get to the rim with ease. They are able to blow by and break down defenders usually without too many problems. But as your body gets older the first thing to go is always your legs.

This is why when Jordan came back to the Bulls and they won their last three titles with Rodman, Jordan did not drive to the hole as much. He was more of a jump shooter and thus he perfected his patented post up and fade away shot. Same thing happened to Clyde when he came here from Portland. His slashing days were pretty much over and he was just a jump shooter. This leads me to say that this has happened to Tracy. Again if you have the slightest basketball and sports comprehension then you will know what I am saying is 100% factual evidence. Tracy is not that same slash to the basket guy that he was in Orlando. That is why I can not and will not call him a Superstar. Most of Tracy's points come from fade away jumpers. I bet you did not know why players fade away did you? Players fade away to create space or separation from a defender. This leads me to my next point if Tracy is a 6-8 guard then why the hell does he have to fade away so much? The answer is because he does not have his legs anymore.

i'm not referring to the bad games per se.. the point i was trying to make was the press statement he said about ringing his own bell, that's a sign of immaturity or selfishness. i odnt know which one is it exactly.

Wrong, anytime he has a good game he says that. When he doesn't have a good game, he says very little about his own game and speaks more to his teammates game. That's the mark of a loser. Taking credit and shucking responsibility.
