This +/- has to do with the fact that scola's numbers were up against al jefferson's, which basically canceled out. Still means he was very effective. Always gotta take +/- with a grain of salt
But Tim Duncan twists his ankle during that process and ginobli's flops because he couldn't skip far enough.
He recently moved from 4 fourth place to 3 third. Its very well possible that he'll be runner up (I don't think theres enough games left for him to go to number one). But there is one flaw mentioned on the website that I agree with as well. His shot selections, and the amount of shots he takes. The man took 30 shots in a game, that is way way way too many for a rookie, for a power forward as a matter of fact. He needs to improve his shot selections, and its possible that he'll move on to second place. I don't know whether he can replace Kevin Durant. The man has been first place since the beginning of the season. It would sort of be a big middle finger to him if Scola replaced him for first place and wins the away at the end of the season.
no, the in game +/- has to do with the point differential for the team when he was in the game. minnesota outscored the rockets by one point during scola's 35:14 mins.
Geeeeeeez, you have to be talking BS out of your rear. If Scola was making 30 shot attempts per game, he would not be only averaging 9.7 points per game. He would be averaging close to 30 points per game, as his FG% is 51.2 %. If he is like Kevin Durant with unlimited authority and freedom to shoot in that second-to-none poorest Seattle Supersonics, and allowed to shoot as many shots attempts per game as Kevin Durant, he would have already surpassed Kevin Durant in points scored per game. His highest FG attempts was only 19 shot attempts in a November game against the Phoenix Suns, and he is only averaging 8 shot attempts per game. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/luis_scola/career_stats.html
