i actually agree with you on this. not that i've never said negative things about his actual game, but game and personality are indeed 2 separate things.

otoh, character and personality IS a big part of fandom though.

iverson may play with more intensity than tmac, but his IQ and lack of ability to play within a system would not fit this team at all.

I’m sure the poster has no hostility to T-Mac. He just hopes Tracy can play tough and carry our Rockets to victory.

    I heard T-Mac has scoliosis: http://www.operationsports.com/forums/pro-basketball/239501-tmac-has-scoliosis.html#post2038163773

Scoliosis can be a difficult condition to deal with for the average person. It would be incredibly difficult for an athlete.

Given how explosive T-Mac was early in his career, and the fact that he is only 29, I am more inclined to believe that there is another reason for his apparent "lack of heart". Scoliosis would be a pretty good explanation. A chronic condition like that can take its toll on any player's mind and body.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't T-Mac play last night and hit some clutch shots in the 4th? Reporters ask him about his injuries, what is he suppose to say? I guess you rather have him sugarcoat every thing because for some reason, nobody likes to hear the truth. He gets injured in a game and you guys get on him for talking about it? I'd like to know one player that gets injured in a game and doesn't talk about it later on.

"Hey, did you break you're arm?"

"No man, I'm cool. Nothing wrong with me at all. What arm?"

"Well, we just saw your arm basically break in half out there."

"Oh, thats not what happened. I was just stretching."

We get it. You don't like TMac. That's fine. But to deny that he came out, played hurt and had a big game when we needed him is ludicrous.

when did I say I dont like mac??? he seems like a nice guy, and I like his game...I just dont like his weak mentality...Im only posting on this thread because I noticed how many people believe mac proved something after last nights game. What did he prove? he himself said it was nothing and he wouldnt miss the game. this is what he said 2 days ago.
"It's nothing major. It's nothing that's going to keep me out of games. I'm really not worried about that."

and then hes scratched from the starting lineup only to reassert himself 30 mins before the game  I thought he said he was fine?? why did he need to take himself out only to put himself back in??? LOL @ macs drama

He proved that he is willing to play hurt and that when he does play hurt he won't sulk around and will still be aggressive. That's what he did.

I wasn't playing out T-Mac and reporters. It was just a random sugar coated interview that many folks seem to rather hear as opposed to the truth. Clyde also said Skip was an All-star last year, you agree with him?

Kobe has a bad pinky and he talked about it. I have yet to see an opponent try to hurt him. Did Kirk Snyder or any of the Wolves try to hurt T-Mac's shoulder or try to break his ankles? I think not.

You feel the need to voice your opinion while watching games, so why can't Tracy voice his opinion while he's freaking playing? You say he needs to STFU and just play. Why don't you STFU and just watch? See how it works?
