He just got ejected from the Bobcats game in the 4th quarter. Looks like the Lakers will drop this game. Plus, Kobe if Kobe gets a single technical over the final 10 games of the season, he'll get an automatic suspension.

Interesting ... Kobe has 15 technicals this season. T-Mac, since he's been a Rocket, only has 13 regular season technicals.

seems like he wasted 2 tonight...the game was never really close.

and, i dont know why he's mad at the refs, they did give the guy a win the previous game.

The Lakers are funny. They looked like crap against us, but then rebounded and played great against the Mavs, Hornets, and Jazz on the road. Then they've flopped twice against Golden State (terrible first halves) and tonight against the Bobcats. With their talent, they should be more consistent than this. Even if they don't have Gasol.

When your own Coach admits that you should probably tone it down when it comes to complaining to the refs then you know you're a sorry bunch of whiners.

I agree with you, but also keep in mind Phil Jackson publicly criticizes his players more than any coach in the NBA.

Kobe must feel entitled of something. I don't get it. I mean, I know NBA refs are bad, but everybody gets screwed at some point and everybody gets the benefit at some point. The NBA said something like the refs get 98% of the calls right....imo, it's more like 85%, just an opinion. Well that's a lot better than college which is closer to 70%, but it's still bad.

Kobe just doesn't quit with his whining though. It wasn't two quick T's like the way ESPN showed it. The 2nd T was when he touch fouled Matt Carrol. The 1st T was way before that. But just 2 possessions before Kobe got called with a touch foul, he got away with a huge foul against Emeka Okafor. Okafor had a clear dunk and Kobe ran over and stuffed it, but it was clearly, and I mean clearly across the forearms, not even the wrist, but the forearms. No foul called...refs blew it.

Refs are just inconsistent. That's the way the League is. But Kobe just swings his arms at refs and cusses and shows em up all the time. His 15 T's would be a lot higher if it was anyone other than Kobe pulling those antics.

I'm just glad the Lakers lost. They really are a mediocre team without Gasol so their inconsistency isn't surprising at all.

    i agree completely.

he's averaging about one T in every 5 games... i bet he gets one more before the season is done. when every game counts, one missed game can be huge.

Too bad all Kobe's got is coach Phil, not Dr.Phil.

    Question.....

He gets suspended 1 game for his next T.......how many more T's after that can he commit before being suspended again?

I believe he gets suspended 1 game for every T thereafter. It gets reset for the playoffs, though.

So there's basically no chance for him to get suspended in the playoffs.....damn!

No, I think if you get 5 technicals or something in the playoffs you'll get a suspension.

Kobe is the biggest whiner in the entire league and he gets away with the most crap too.

Last night he comes from behind and hammers Okafer on a shot and gets credited with a block...what a joke.

I agree 100%. He's a complete punk. And it's such a waste of talent too. Just think of how good he would be if he had a level head and everyone around him respected him as a person as well as a player.

Just because he has a bad attitude and is a whiner, it doesn't mean its a waste of talent. He has multiple Championship rings and has put up unbelievable numbers since coming into the league, he has lived up to his talent as much as anyone else in the league.

BTW, I HATE Kobe Bryant, I too think he is a punk and a whiner. But that has nothing to do with his talent IMO.
