Mo was a professional player who represented our team.He may have made a lot of money and who knows what he has done with it but acting in a irresponsible manner is bad behavior. I liked his scoring ability before the zone got implemented and his injuries slowed him down. I was relieved when he got traded but was unhappy to see him fail after that. He has to take responsibility for himself.
Maurice Taylor took all the power out of the power forward position. Dude was softer than Dirk, a complete black hole, suspended for drugs, shot poorly, and had weight issues. He was awful.
You guys are acting like this is some tragedy. Mo has his life together. He just flipped out at a fitness center. Every time I go to LA fitness, I flip out at them too, because they give me so many damn tours as a guest, and they won't stop calling me for a membership. The fact that he's Mo Taylor probably made the manager call the cops. My friend, he goes to stores and b****es at the manager just because he's bored, and the manager just ends up giving him whatever he wants at discount. No cops called there.
Your friend sounds like a real asshat. Also, maybe you should stop going to LA Fitness as a guest and maybe they'll stop thinking you want a membership.
Hehehe, someone I work with (a big Rockets fan, by the way) plays pickup at that very gym and has told me about Mo Taylor's antics with his hooping guests. He told me of one incident where Mo called for everyone to clear out so he could go 1 on 1 with his guest, and the guest didn't take kindly to it. They started going at each other (verbally) pretty heatedly and had to be broken up. Mo shoulda smoked a fat one in the car before coming in. He'd have been far less aggressive and, thus, far less arrested. PS: It's "paddy" wagon ... y'know, an ethnic slur against the Irish.
Another day, another has been, doing something stupid. So the question is, does pot make people do stupid things or is it just a coincidence that A LOT of stupid people smoke pot?
it's actually Paddy Wagon....and as an Irish-American, i'm deeply offended by your trite use of this racist phrase.
most people don't know the history behind the phrase. I don't think he meant any harm. it's become anglasized
black hole - check suspended for drugs - check shot poorly - check weight issues - check , but soft? not really. dude would throw down some nasty dunks, took up for his teammates, and took up for himself. if by soft you mean "sucked on defense"... then yeah, i'd agree (though he did have an eye-opening block here and there). i think this is the only vid of motay on youtube... <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rOn8pNh9sD0&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rOn8pNh9sD0&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Since Mo never bothered to rebound or play defense when he was actually getting payed to play basketball, dare I even ask how much worse he could be in pick-up game action?
The last dunk was on Shawn Bradley... Who didn't dunk on Shawn Bradley? He even made the same "OH NOES!" reaction he did years later against T-Mac.
just another talented loser. Jvg's classic definition of a knucklehead. Yeah, it was a dark time before JVG came along and cleaned up alot of Rudy T's blunders in the so called Steve Francis era.
