    Are the Rockets still planning on unveiling the statue of Dream on Friday, April 11th against the Suns?

    donoo about the unveiling..but i dont think it'll be a statue..probably a big rectangle or something with his name on it...his religion isnt allowed to have statues :(


    it would be so awesome if they made a statue of him..he deserves it

    minor correction: It's not a statue of Dream. It's a monument that focuses on his jersey and accomplishments.

    I believe they had plans for a statue when they built TC but Hakeem objected to it so they've had the idea for a monument for a while.

    I know that but considering how long the TC has been opened now, they have kind of taken thier time getting something done.

    i feel yah, but Dream & the artist indicated that an accord was challenging. if this pleases all parties i can overlook the time.

    i'm pretty pleased that neither party stopped at 'no statues'! :cool:
