boudreaux's is not overpriced. we can disagree on the food, its not rajun cajun as far as quality but the prices are not terrible. no way. i think they're actually pretty good considering the food.

Awesome. I remember Prince's next to the old Drive In movie at the corner of South Park (now MLK) and 610.

I also remember the old DDT fog spraying mosquito trucks and the 12 noon siren.

Thanks, for the memories and I will have to check out that song.

i work in the area also.

Mexican food = Riveride (Telephone and Long Dr./Park Place); Noemi's Taco's on Park Place and 45 is known to be good, but haven't tried it, they are in the Chronicle; I forgot the name but there is also a place off of 45 feeder and right before Park Place.

BBQ = Gabby's is way better then Pappas (telephone and 610 feeder)

Chinese = 888 which is right there next to Dots and Pappas BBQ or Shan Hu(on
    belfort between broadway and telephone)

    Chinese/Sushi Buffet = V Star(45 feeder and woodridge)

Spanky's is popular for there lunch pizza meal, I personally think it sucks.

Another vote for Dot's. Fond memories of their CFS from back in my law school days.

Kelly's is alright, but for lunch I'd stick with Dot's. You can get a lot of the same food there and don't have to drive to Park Place.
