you all saw how the 3rd quarter ended when tmac was out.

tmac on the floor just makes the offense flows better. he eventually got on tract and scored 13 pts in the 2nd half. his teammates played well tonight so no need for him to take too many shots, which he didn't.

tmac played terrible in the first half. he played his decent self in the 2nd half.

I think adelman is trying to prove a point... Like your not coming out so stop pouting. For some reason I think RA is trying to break macs weak mentality by playing him heavy mins, and for some reason I think it might work.

Right or wrong, that is an interesting theory. I never thought of that.

Wow, that was a nail-biter. Great game by Rafer (I wish he would play like this every game). HORRIBLE interior defense, the Kings made the Rockets look like a lay up drill. Adelman should go crazy when he sees the film. Incidently, congrads on 800 wins, but I still don't understand your rotations. TMac, practice your shooting please. What happened to Landry, he doesn't seem to be in the flow of the game? How many threes did the Kings make, good grief, anyone guarding them out there? Whatever, it is a win and the Rockets are third in the West.

I admit I've been spoiled by Hilltopper.I'm looking forward to the post-game interviews. One thing is for sure, unless we tighten up our defense we are bound to get in trouble.

    Quick mini-poll...

Who wants the Warriors to win to put us ahead of the Lakers in the standings? Remember that the Lakers are getting Gasol back by next week and have a very easy remaining schedule.

Who wants the Lakers to win, giving us more cushion on the 8th spot? The Warriors have a tough remaining schedule.

^ Landry played good. There just wasnt many opportunities for him to show his moves because he got hacked every time he tried to

Patience, young gun. He is only human and surely has a life beyond clutchfans.net.

P.S. - Clutch doesn't update the Rockets' roster. That is the coaches' job.

I didn't see the game, but looking at the box scores I can assume we're playing bad Defense again.....

Over 50% shooting for the Kings?
Atleast we managed to outrebound them, but only 18 assists-thats way down from what we averaged during our streak.

We won obviously but I've been really dissapointed in Tmac's performance the last few games. Thank god the good Rafer decided to show up today :)

Rafer bounced back! Great game by him.
Shane's hook shots have been money lately.
    Decent 2nd half by Tmac.
Artest didn't go off against us this time, finally. :D

Count me in. I don't see the Rockets slipping to the 8th spot, but there is a non-trivial chance they could beat (or tie while holding the tiebreaks) the Lakers.

So far, so good (GSW 63, LAL 52 at the half).

And let me add my $0.02 to congratulate RA on win #800!

Why are you dissapointed? Tmac was great against the Warriers and almost a triple double against the Suns.

He had 28/8/8 against the Warriors and 30/9/8 against the Suns. Sure, he shot a poor % against the Suns, but he got to the line and made things happen to keep the team in the game.

Tonight he was crap, though. Thank god for Skip indeed.

T-Mac didn't shoot well but he created plenty for others and only committed a single TO. He also hit some big shots late in the game. He played well enough.

As far as defense, it was just about as bad as the box score shows. No perimeter defense on their jump shooters and we were unable to stop those same players from driving to the basket. It was a layup fest. Fortunately, they couldn't punish us with their frontcourt or it may have been a different outcome.

that's why you don't read boxscores. tmac was obviously bad in the first half b/c of the ankle. as he got better, he moved better and got to the line. then he found his rhythm.

he'll be fine. it's a great thing we're back to scoring 100+ pts b/c the offense is not a problem now.

but we need to shore up the defense though. too much unnecessary double teaming for my liking.
