We beat them, and thank God, because what kind of team has Artest coming off the bench? I'm not complaining, but that sounds like a Tanker in disguise if you ask me. Guess the Kings have to tank to get a decent pick, even though they really have won too many games, but they'll get a better pick than most western teams. A win is obviously always good. We get a day off!!! Yayyyyy, lol. Then one more game and we get a damn near unprecedented THREE DAYS OFF!! They need it. Geez.

That was the worst Rockets defense I have seen in years, so only one word sums up tonight's game.

    WHEW !

We again played no defense at all. Sacramento had just layup after layup, no one guarded the middle of the paint.

To bad T-Mac had that ankle injury. Nothing serious but it slowed him down especially in the 1st half. But he had some nice passes, he score 8 in the fourth.

Looks like Rafer read BBS cause hell he was driving to the basket.

Solid, grind-it-out victory. Five players in double figures, with 31 points from the bench. The interior defense was lacking in the second half, but they were the aggressors on offense and got to the line an amazing 42 times. More of that, please! Keep it going, fellas!

Major props to Rafer. He's my darkhorse candidate to get to the All-Star game in NO this year.

Oh wait, is that over? Oh well. Next season, Rafer. ;)

    LOL

Rafer really stepped up tonight, lets hope he can take the confidence he gained from this game and use it for the rest of the season as well as the playoffs.

Artest does not come off the bench. He was in foul trouble.

Players of the game: Alston and Hayes

i think everyone was praising rafer in the game thread. we don't need rafer to be this great every game. he just needs to make 40-45% of his WIDE OPEN shots and everyone will be happy.

That was actually the worst Rockets' defense in hours. Do you remember the 1st half of the Suns game?

I know we were at a ridiculous disadvantage in the frontcourt, but 76% shooting is absurd, esp. against a team that hangs its coat on defense.

why did the coach make tmac play 40+ minutes in this game? he got his ankle rolled at the start and there seemed sth wrong with his shoulder at the end. plus tmac played terribly in this game.
RA should pay more attention to keep his star players healthy!!

The interior defense was terrible, but it all starts with the first man getting beat.

Why did they keep double Artest and then closing on the shooter to let him past by to the basket.

Make Artest hit a tough shoot over Hayes, he was playing good defense on him. Don't double on him and trade a tough basket for a layup. They did that over and over again.
