The toughest part of the schedule obviously is Phoenix on April 11 followed by back-to-back vs. Denver and Utah. But some of those games may become meaningless because the playoff seeding could be decided before then.
We might be matched up with the Jazz again. Hopefully we will have home court in the first round and hopefully TMAC will showup not Tracy McGrady.
8-4 is my expectation. the 2 games vs the spurs and the suns are almost sure losses in my mind. the kings have not been easy for us, and we may drop one at their court. away against denver and utah, i'd be happy to take a 1-1 draw. this will put us 55-27. i've no idea where this record will seed us. but if i have to guess, we'd be #5 and match up with the jazz again which is too bad. hopefully we'd have home court and pass the 1st rd this time.
Not that I care, but I thought I would put it out there for everyone to comment on. Barkley said before the Suns game that we would only win 5 out of the last 13 games.. and the NBAtv guy (was it Billy? I can't remember) said that he figured 6 out of the last 13. This after Ernie told Barkley that 8 of our last 13 are against sub 5-hundred teams and all but 3 of them are on the road. So basically he doesn't think we can beat the good teams or the bad teams. How did we ever get on that streak? LOL At any rate... I am going to guess we will go 7-5 the rest of the way. I am hoping that will get us home court if not the 4th seed.
9-3 is pretty realistic ending up with matching up with either Utah, Phoenix, NOLA or the Lakers. I'll take the Jazz out of those 4 to start. I think we match up better this time with Scola/Landry manning the 4.
I hope we draw another opponent. Not that I don't think we could beat the Jazz in seven, but I just don't want the same series as last season, boring. Also, the Jazz are big and annoying. And Williams will run right over Rafer, again. Landry and Scola might really help on Boozer, though. I want the Hornets.

Are records are too identical right now for us to play the Hornets who are in our division. Two things would have to happen for us to play NOH this year in the first round of the playoffs. We would have to lose the majority of our remaining games and be one of the lower seeds this year, are the Hornets would have to lose the majority of their games and be one of the lower seeds. Otherwise we will not see Chris Paul in the first round this year.
agree but I think we take the Spurs out to go up 3-1 over them this year. We will take one against Phoenix, Denver and Utah.

If we are 8 and they are 1, won't that work? Or, we are 7 and they are 2? Don't tell me there is some rule about division and ranking. (?!?)
12-0 mini-streak Isn't it cool to say "12-0" and "mini-streak" in the same sentence? Let's go streaking again!
