    Why don't you?
Too lazy? Too much effort needed?
Just want to whine about something while eating chips?

Did he? I just remember him saying he really wants something special to happen in the city of Houston. He could have promised...then again what stars that get traded don't say this? Want him to come in and say, "I hope to get you guys to the playoffs?"

    Edit: add.

Oh, I don't know his stats. But I believe his numbers basically say this:

Points/game down, assists up, rebounds about the same, still carrying a team that disappears when we need them most.

Since Tmac's been here, we've had 3 of 4 seasons of 50+ wins. That's pretty damn good. And the season we didn't have 50 wins, we were full out tank mode because of yao, tmac AND skip being hurt.

I could careless about his individual stats. Fact is, we've won more in a conference that's gotten stronger in the last 10 years. That to me, is impresssive.

Now only if we had 4+ playoff wins in a season...*sigh*

Inefficient chucker, who is too lazy to correct his shortcomings.

It is so funny how people here love to bash a guy like Dirk, when T-Mac this season does not even attempt the amount of free throws that Dirk actually makes. TMac shooting 67% from the line is joke, a disgrace. Why can big men like Amare, Al Jefferson, Duncan, Gasol or Kaman who aren't known for their shooting at all make a higher percentage of free throws ? Why does nobody publicly call TMac's lazy ass out ?

He opens his mouth like no other player, but can't even be bothered to work on his ft shooting. People will mention the streak and how big he was during it, but why does this stupid streak really matter when I can just sense that this team will not get out of the 1st round again. I call it right now and I hope to be proven wrong but I just know that we will be kicked out of the playoffs early again.

It just shocks me how nobody ever calls him out. Maybe it is because I am from Europe, but here players get criticised by their coaches no matter if it's a scrub or a star, but I always hear JVG and Adelman praising TMac and how great he is and all this bull****. I would love to hear Adelman publicly call his ass out for being such an inefficient from everywhere on the floor. He can't even finish layups sometimes.

God, I'd so prefer Dirk or even Gasol over T-Mac on this team or in general, it is not even funny.

Yes, and this will likely be the first time since 1992-1993, 1993-1994, that the Rockets will have had back-to-back 50+ win seasons.

I would love the trade too. Imagine Tmac with Kobe, Byrum, Odom or
Kid, Stackhouse, Howard, at least conference final locked.

...I believe TMAC said it best after Yao Ming went on the injured list...when he said something like...

...I ALMOST quote...everyone will pat the team on the back when we do good...and...blame me when the team does bad...it is what it is...

    ...too bad he was right...

So you're for calling out, but not for praising? It's actually the same. You expose a star over team one way ore another.

If you do not see what TMac brings to helping this team that's your problem, but coming from Europe, you should like following:
    1) Rockets playing team ball (extra passing, involving everyone)
    2) Defense

I think TMac should talk as little as possible. On the other hand - this is a Star oriented game. You don't see titles "Lakers beat Dallas", rather "Kobe beats Dallas". So that's the thing you must accept.

What I expect here is critique, not bashing. If your perception includes limitations of players and team, than you can give constructive criticism.
But if your perception makes you see your team as a nothing less but champions, then you tend to develop "bashing syndrome" and whine about everything.

Tmac is not committed to winning a championship. The stats spells it out. The rockets need to drop him like a bad habit after this season. When the rockets signed Swift I knew that was a bad choice, because over a five year period he never improved. If you stay the same, you get the same.

That would be true if it were a 1-man sport, and all other things given are unchanging. His playoff numbers are above his regular season averages, and are outstanding. Among the best out there. I mean you believe what you want to, you are entitled to that. Personally for me, I just can't see anyone else doing what he's done for our team short of an improbable trade that would never happen (Kobe and LJ-type trades). Even then, I don't see Kobe taking this team further than it's been. T-Mac nor Kobe would have been able to change how his teammates played sub-par when we needed them most.

    Again, just my belief.

I coulda swore Tmac is the best overall scorer in the post season averaging around 32ppg. I could be wrong.

I know that stat doesn't prove you or me wrong. Hell I agree with you about what you put out, you get the same. Taking both Dallas and Utah to 7 is frustrating as hell.

But to say he's not committed to winning? Yikes. We were 20-12 without yao last year, we're 11-4 without him this year. Doesn't that show that tmac AND the team have the ability to step it up??? If you want to talk about stats, let's revisit his stats after this post season. Tmac's post season stats will be better than his regular season, as it was the other 7 times he's been in the playoffs.

Yeah call me crazy but for some reason I think our team this year without yao could cause more damage in the post season than last year's team with yao+tmac+scrubs.

The team's new system, new coach, and everyone's individual accountability makes this team more dangerous than last year's squad. who cares a bout tmac's stats. I'm all about us winning.

Over his four year career as a rocket, the only that stands out slightly is his career high in assists. That's it folks. Everything else is pretty much on a downward slope. Do anyone on this board see any improvement in his game? Tmac is our best player, it's not Yao. As Tmac goes, so do the Rockets. If Tmac is not willing to put in the extra time to make himself the best possible player he can be, then the Rockets are wasting their time on this guy.
