I'm going to Cafe Adobe tonight on a triple date with two other couples. Can't get out of it. However, I've been dieting for about a month now and have made tremendous progress. I don't want to eat some 1500 calorie meal from Cafe Adobe and blow it. What can I eat at this place that is reasonable healthy beyond a salad?
No chips, no cheese, maybe no guacamole Corn tortillas. grilled chicken + vegetables. salsa ok. Some rice ok. Light beer. Diet coke.
Some Mexican joints have low fat Spinach enchilada's. Basically you can remove all the melted cheese on top of the enchilada to make it even less fattening.
just talk people into get a fajita plate, and only eat what you want. That way you are not ordering a dish just for you. Just make one taco or something. You'll be fine.
If you can't eat ONE fattening meal, then you definitely will fail on your diet. Work out. Eat right.
