i'll speak whatever the hell language i want, if the person cant understand me well too bad for me, right?
it would still be my fault and thats what some people might not understand. Thats why the dude im sure has that sign.
Get over yourselves, go to other countries they take orders in English. Mexico takes english orders, France takes English, Holland takes English...people around the world enjoy learning other languages, you douche bags hate it for some reason your gay and this is coming from a tri-lingual guy who's moniker is GAY4WHO???
You're sure that's why? I seriously doubt it. It's totally within his rights to put that up, but let's be realistic here. It's an old man in a city nowhere near the border...
Yeah. I go to taquerias around town where the waitresses don't understand American. It can be annoying when trying to order but the food is worth it. I wish I was there now instead of work.
You were starting to make a decent point until halfway through...whatever point you were almost touching on was instantly negated by your overwhelming idiocy.
SORRY i wasnt talking about anyone on this thread in particular. Just the idea that gaining culture is a negative...
The U.S has no official language at the federal level. Pennsylvania is not one of the 28 states that has English as an official language. Of course English is a necessity in this country but the sign is harsh. He might as well put "If you're a foreigner who doesn't speak English, I wont take your order". It could've been as simple as "Orders will only be taken in English, Thanks"
its not like you have to speak the language fluently when ordering something at a restaurant, just read the menu and pronounce what it sais
I don't see what the big deal is. If he really is racist and ignorant and thinks he's "too good" for money from people that don't speak english then that's less money for him. Besides it's one man and his sandwich shop. Keywords his store. His store his rules. Just go to another restaurant and get over it.
Hope none of you guys go to a country outside of the United States and they require you to speak their native language.
The owner said no customers are refused food or business. But if you don't order in English then you just get what you get, no refunds etc.
