This, arguably, is the biggest game since Yao's injury. What are we going to do w 2 big bigs. I am very interested in seeing the game plan and seeing how our team responds. If it had been last season, we would have no chance; defensive match-ups will be tough, and last year we couldn't have scored enough on offense to overcome them. This year's team has enough firepower to win, and if we can harass Amare enough will still playing good team defense on the rest of the Suns... And this year's Rockets have some grit and fire... Very interesting.
This is atough one, Phonix now on the run, and they play at home.. But we got to win this one.. Its a huge game.. Hopefully all the players have a big game and not scare to face them.. Get Roll Rockets, show them we are the greatest!
Hmm... questions about Woods, and will the starters struggle again. I am hopeful, but PHO is playing a bit better now with Shaq and they are a team that has given usfits in the past. (Well, it worked for last last night's game... ).
If the Rockets could get 3 wins this week, I'll be very happy. With a schedule like this, 2 wins would be acceptable and 3 wins would be good. Go! Rockets
I hate this is a back to back after a tough physical and emotional win last night, doesn't seem rational. Certainly is a disadvantage against the Suns, but Marion used to give the Rockets more trouble than anyone, and he is gone. I hope Adelman comes up with something better than the "Head strategy." And most of all, I hope Landry's knee didn't swell after the game last night. AND, maybe Rafer will miss the bus to the stadium, he is really getting on my nerves again.
Strange to say this about a Phoenix team, but the Rockets' best bet may be to outrun and outshoot them. Hope we have the legs for it.
I want to see how Carl Landry responds in this game. The first game back from an injury is not as hard as the second.
amare will be a tough matchup for scola, i just hope our defense can limit everyone else's production. wow what a huge win this would be for us. its strange that we have 47 wins right now and could possibly finish this season with 55 wins or so, when you consider the 15-17 start
i think this is where adelman > JVG. i think deke would have played last night if JVG was coaching. now today, adelman WILL use deke will play 25-30 mins tonight to match up with shaq. he guards shaq better than anybody and we rarely double to help deke. again, rafer MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST play well. steve nash is easy to toy with and if rafer airballs another open 3 again, he's probably back to his old self, no questions asked. we need to play landry with tmac more. landry will get all the open shots like a kid at a candy store. we have to win this. we have to prove to prove to ourselves that we can beat great teams despite 2 letdowns. we have to prove we are still a great team. and great teams win on the road v. other great teams. i'm really curious to see how the team responds. PS - i hope rafer gets pulled for bobby and head gets pulled. those 2 nearly cost us the game last night
i hope Loren Woods plays tonight and has a breakout night, and flourishes in adelmans offense... ahhh i can always dream
I think this game is definitely within our grasp. Shaq doesn't really scare anyone anymore and all Amare is good for is highlight dunks. His total lack on defensive effort is unreal. As long as Head and Alston play better than they did last night (that shouldn't be too hard) and we get the usual production from everyone else, we should be in good shape!
