The win today gives GSW their 26th loss.

denver have 28.

Portland and the Kings are no chance

I think we can safely say that, at a minimum, we are going to the
playoffs!!

nope the western conference is pack tight, meaning if the anyteam in the top 4 spot lose few games they can be out of the playoff

It's been pretty safe to say for a while now but doesn't mean it will definately happen. Just means it is likely to happen. Thread closed (hopefully).

fair enough, i know its not mathematically a done deal by any means...

but for some reason the Rocks have made a serial pessimist into a optimist this season.

3 teams in the East (Boston, Detroit, Orlando) have clinched playoff births. No team in the West has. That said, I think that 4 more wins (+/- 1) should do it.

MAthematically, no team has clinched the playoff berth in the West. but with 13games remaining, all rockets need to do is go for 6-7 records then it will require Nuggets and Blazers to win all the remaining 13 games which is something i dont think they can accomplish. So the magic number for the rockets to clinch the playoff berth will be 6.

Personally i think the rockets will make the playoffs this season thanks to the amazing 22 winning streak unless the rockets suck it up in the final 13 games like 2-11, 3-10 type of records, they should be alright!

I'm as paranoid as the next guy buy the Rockets are fine when it comes to the playoffs just because I have faith in this Rockets team. The magic number for clinching a playoff spot is 7 or 8.

Right anyone can make the playoffs, from NO and LA, to Denver and Portland. Personally, I believe and hope that the Rockets will get to the playoffs at least, but hey, anything can happen.
