Alright just as long as you put the Carebears near the top. Maybe Steve Novak too.

The Tin Woodsman wanted a heart and the Lion wanted courage.

He still has terrible shot selection. Having Landry under the hoop really goes a long way in making up for it.

Yeh you're right. Tmac needs other players around him to play well for him to play well. With a healthy Landry, teams can't just double Tmac all day and that helps him get his game off.

here comes mcgrady, after some rest and adjustment. I know it was just a little temporary setback after winning 22, and b2b against two elite teams.

tmac would have gotten 32-33 pts tonight if he gotten a few calls :( unbelievable how he got ignored out there by the refs.

if the other team's commentators said tmac was fouled several tmes, he must have been fouled

cant believe this too, but we get some back from those uncalled fouls on tmac, and we win the game, enough.
TMac is the big fundamental of this team.
He is just too tired before today's game

He's had the same amount of rest for at least the past 6 or so games. I attribute this win to 3 key points.

    1. GSW play weak defense
    2. GSW have no bigs to exploit our lack of bigs.
    3. Everyone stepped up (especially bobby jackson) when they needed to (except luther).

I'm not eating crow on this.

McGrady took a three game vacation. I wonder how the Rockets Org would react to their ticket sales reps saying "going to cut my sales calls by 3/4ths for the next week because I'm tired"

Yeah, I think it's pretty funny how people think McGrady has proven everyone wrong because he decided to show up for work last night.

I will give him some credit though. He was aggressive and was trying to penetrate more. I just hope that the refs not giving him any calls won't discourage him from continuing.

And it's pretty funny that you look for ANY reason to trash the guy. Someone takes one article out of context and you're the first one to post "McCancer" or whatever stupid name. Whether you give him credit or not is immaterial. You've already decided that you hate him no matter what he does, so it's a moot point.

McGrady is a career 44% shooter and a career 34% 3pt shooter. To put that in comparison:

    Kobe Bryant: 45% shooter, 34% 3pt shooter

    Ray Allen: 45% shooter, 40% 3pt shooter

    Reggie Miller: 47% shooter, 40% 3pt shooter

I guess those guys have terrible shot selection as well.

Come on. You can't deny that McGrady has a tendency to take boneheaded shots at the worst of times. Sometimes he gets lucky and they go in, sometimes he has Landry under the basket to bail him out, but most of the time he clunks it and the Rockets get burned.

You should spend less time getting worked up about the opinions of your fellow Rockets fans and enjoy the team's success. :D
