Apparently got into it after the lakers game.

I'm not a cuban or mavericks hater but anytime things like this happen to a western conference rival I love it.

Cuban is seriously getting too wound up lately, he is going after any and every body. From bloggers to columnists who disagree with anything he supports, such as MMA. He really needs to chill out.

Regardless, I see Avery leaving the mavs in the next year, most likely cuban letting him go and paying him off.

I hope AJ leaves the Mavs and goes to a team I can wish the best.

Avery makes some bizarre decisions... esp near end of games

Apparently, Avery wanted to explore trading Dirk at one point or another, and Cuban shut it down quickly. In case anyone is unaware, Cuban and Dirk have a special relationship and they're pretty close/buddy-buddy types. Basically, Cuban won't even entertain the idea of trading Dirk if it improves the team. Also, I am not so sure that Avery was crazy about the Kidd trade, he didn't seem to be fully on-board with that one.

the consensus on dallas sports radio is that avery has lost the team

In huddles they seem to tune him out. Dirk openly questioned avery's decision to sit kidd in the final seconds of the sa game. It being 'leaked' that Avery wanted Dirk traded.

They have had avery yelling at them for 3 years now. There is only so much of that you can take before it becomes a beating.

I don't know about lost the team, but yeah it seems as if something's not right. What's funny about the West is you can say Dallas is having a terrible season they are only 1 game out of missing the playoffs or you can say they are doing fine they are only 3 games out of first seed.

The Mavs blew their chance the last two seasons. This roster has run it's course and changes are needed. It surprised me they didn't revamp anything over last summer.

AJ did...hell, he even wanted to trade Dirk for Kobe. Guess who objected to the trade: Cuban.

Cuban dicked around and screwed up the roster by trading Harris.

    ..perhaps even more than that...

Cuban is literally taking it up the ass by being stubborn about Dirk as a Franchise player.

He has taken his team to the finals and has an MVP. One year he beat KG pretty bad.

As much as I hate on Tracy McEeyore, I'd MUCH rather have him on my team than that dirty, whiny mouth-breathing Nowitzki.

I know Cuban gets a lot of grief from fans and the media (deservingly so) but I don't think its that crazy to be loyal to one of your players who has meant a lot of the franchise.

Dirk gets the same treatment from the media that Yao gets. Granted, Dirk is still the reigning MVP but people still consider him soft and vulnerable no matter what he does. Tonight, in a pivotal game, he had 22 and 19 while his PG's went a combined 2/16 from the field. Guess who's fault that still is?

Aside from Dirk, name an MVP who collected his trophy after his team was bounced from the playoffs? Dirk is overrated...he's good, but he's no franchise player.
