The 22 game streak made the season after we lost Yao for the season. Everything from here on out is gravy. This is the deepest conference ever. The Rockets without Yao did great to go 10-2 without him and have a winning record without McGrady. The team still plays championship level defense. If we can hit our shots we can advance a round. I'll take that.

That would be odd, since he made quite a difference when he was playing.

So they're not who we thought they were? I think they're just who we thought they were. The Rockets are who we thought they were. They are who we thought they were!

And Boston is going to win it all anyway. I don't see anyone beating them in a seven game series.

It depends on who you get to officiate the game and if the team they play against plays them hard. Boston is the definition of OVERRATED! Hell, I wish the Rowdies would have screamed that when Boston took to the court. They aren't who we think they are, teams are letting them off the hook because they can. I now, and will never have respect for a team that Kevin Garnett plays on. Period.

on paper, nobody can beat them in a 7 game series... but that is why you play the games. If nobody can beat them, then they mine as well end the season and give them the championship?

I vote 5 stars for this thread's contradiction comedic value. Innuendo, heresay, and conspiracies. Not to mention drama, bashing and countless posts exacerbating it. Just classic!

    Landry may play tonight
The Rockets could have at least one frontcourt reinforce-ment today at Golden State.

Forward Carl Landry, who has missed seven games with a sore right knee, is expected to test the knee at today's shoot-around in hopes of playing.

"We'll go hard at shoot-around," Rockets athletic trainer Keith Jones said. "We'll see how he does. If he feels the way he does now, which is pretty good, we'll give it a go."

They've been saying this for the past two weeks. I'm not even going to believe any of this stuff until I actually see him on the court throwing one down in a game.

They've been saying this the last 2 weeks! I hope he plays though if he is truly healthy.

Can we kill this thread considering it is far from being the "latest" on Carl Landry?

Yeah, it seems like they've said something like this before every game recently.

Keith Jones is like the boy who cried wolf....you can't believe him until Landry actually hits the floor.
