I simply made a comment about the Owls baseball team. No need for me to calm down.

And if you're talking about the pro teams, the Astros and Rockets tend to win more often than they lose.

Kind of a weak attempt at humor. :)

6th round pick for a young starter who knows the system and was taught under a great Mike Shanahan... not bad :D

No sour grapes from UH country, because UH Cougars (Dream & Glide) are the only ones to bring H-town its first and only championships.

Still waiting for Rice boy Lance to lead the Stros to a championship. We know cheater-horn Clemens failed to do so.

Texans missed out on Rex Hadnot to play both Center/Guard position for years to come.

Supposedly Gibbs didn't think Hadnot was the right fit for our system so it seems like we passed rather than missed out.

Steve McKinney released by Texans - telling him that they couldn't pay him $1.6 mill given his injury concerns and the expectations of Myers taking his starting job.

    Sucks, but understandable.

That's too bad about McKinney. Wasn't he the first Texan free agent?

Odd, I thought he would be worth keeping around for backup center and guard duties. I guess they want to give the younger guys their shot.

Ya...hopefully Gibbs can do some good things with White, Studdard, Frye, and Butler.

Can't they re-sign him for less money? If so, I expect him in camp.

He said in today's paper that he will look to sign somewhere else for a starting job, but if it doesn't work out (age, knee concerns, etc...) he will try to come back to the Texans as a backup for backup $$
