That does make sense to every one. Let's see the upcoming games and what Rockets will do for us I hope we will get back onto the track when the palyoffs begins
You too, tough guy. Go over to Tmac and tell him he's not a leader. I want to see how he punches you in your face on youtube too.
Some of you are really blind... Ok, we had a fantastic 22 games streak, so now what? We have to stay here and say "thank you" for the remaining 14 games? Let's play at least in a bad way but not patheticly. They are tired, without gas and whatever you want, but the way we played tonight (particulary one man extending is useless presence to 3 games) was unacceptable. The streak is over, thank you, but AMEN, go ahed. Because the last thing I wanna see is Rockets losing games because of their own fault and not because our opponents are better. And tonight's game was a game in which we had to fight and react untill the last breath, because the risk was to mentally drop and falls for the rest of the season. But we didn't. HE didn't.
Probably we would not win against Lakers without Jackson but Tmac did not play well then. If Bonzi took some of TMac PT, he may have performed enough and contribute to overcome what Jackson did. Bonzi was playing much better just the last few games before he was traded and the trend of his last few games seemed to show he is playing better and better. Anyway, he is already gone, no point talking about him .. but he will bite us back whenever we meet them .. that's the problem when you trade with a division rival OUCH!!
What a ridiculous comment! Why even post. 2 games from the streak and 2 years are way different. We all know McGrady is flawed. How did it go from me talking about the Rox in general to I must only be talking about McGrady. Hate much lately?
Geez, don't you people have any faith or something? Our guys have worked their asses off during the streak. They are tired as hell right now, both physically and mentally. The tough schedule just caught us at a really bad timing. We'll be fine. Hopefully RA can figure out a way to rest the starters a little bit.
LOL. T-Mac won't even show up for basketball games. I doubt somebody calling him names would inspire a response.
I wouldn't doubt, like someone else said earlier, that we won't really start getting back on track until Sac comes to town.
LOL, that about sums up most the folks on this board. I need a cigarette to calm myself after dealing with all these so called fans. I wish it were the 80's again, that's when people knew how to be fans. Have you ever seen Celtic Pride, great example of somebody representing their fanhood.
I got to say the coach did a bad job today. The offense is standing around again. Set some screens let T-Mac run around them. Need to quit letting him set up the offense. And yes we are a team without a post game. So play more of your sharp shooters Novak, Head, and even Brooks. Starters are playing too many minutes. Yes Alston and Battier had a good run there but we all know it was not going to last forever. But they are still playing good ball just too many minutes. One thing the players need to stop doing also is stop playing around the three point line. When T-Mac kick out to them they need to pump fake get a lil closer and hit the 15-18 footer. But hey it is what it is they not going to win a championship this year with this group. Phoenix could not do it without a low post game and they had a great team. And also remember the Kings run also, in the West you need a low post presence. I just want to see them compete and get out of the first round. So the so call experts can get off of T-Mac jock.
So much for .............. "Never get tired of winning". We need to change that to .............."Never get tired". Isn't it amazing how effective Bonzi was against Shane tonight, just a couple games after Shane drove Kobe crazy? And wouldn't it be nice to have Bonzi posting up and going to the glass relentlessly in the absense of Yao and McGrady shooting the 20 footers?
The offense is tired holmes,The defense as well. We will be alright we just have to re-focus our efforts.
We may not be able to contend without Yao but with Bonzi, we could got a better chance to make it deep into the playoffs. As about contract or money perspective, you said it right, the trade with NOH is about money and avoiding Lux tax. Well, I just felt shocked that we were hit by 25pts (9 for 12) and 3 blocks from Bonzi (the guy we just traded) and he is the top scorer for NOH.
We lost because: - Scola is back to his foul trouble - making the lack of inside game even more acute (Scola was the only inside offensive presence) - making it easier for Hornets to pressure the ball up court - making it hard for the backcourt to shoot well (from outside) - Hornets are very good team, esp. with West back
