Couldn't agree more. I knew as soon as we lost 2 or 3 games, this board would devolve into more "Trade TMAC!" threads.
um I already said that, show some love to your Rox people. I swear it's all Child protective services fault, kids just don't get their asses whipped anymore and they become spoiled and well, that's a whole other topic.
Against very good teams, Rockets need offense too. To hope Hornets score 39 points every half is not realistic at all. But right now Rockets offense is no longer a surprise to those teams, very similar to last year. They need to make some changes. Maybe get Landry back will help, if he ever comes back.
goodnight haters. see you during the next win streak. ps. michael jordan isn't coming back. it's ok to love again.
Especially sad since everyone was all over Tmacs scrotum before the Lakers game, People are too flip floppy, no commitment to your team and nobody uses constructive criticism.
The key point is Rox need a real team leader who can stably get points and support teammates in every game. Everybody can see T-Mac is NOT the person.
Hey tough guy, let me tell you what. Why don't you go over to Tmac and then call him She-mac? I am sure someone will record it and I can't wait to see how Tmac punch you in your face on youtube.
Are you kidding me...this team went on the second longest winning streak in NBA history, a feat that hasn't been seen in decades. The fans, the media, the basketball world jumped onto the bandwagon. And each victory, each game became a little bit more difficult than the next as the target on their backs got bigger. Just look at the way the Celtics played them. McGrady was right, that was some of the best defense I've ever seen. And look at the pregame quotes by Allen. They were salivating over the chance to beat them. And then look at the letdowns the Lakers and the Bucs had after their winning streaks. That speaks volumes to just how taxing such a streak is. So it's pretty understandable that the team, McGrady included, is fatigued right now. The question is how do they deal with it...cause you can bet, streak or not, they're not the only team that is tired.
Good observation. Hope the Rockets can quickly regroup themselves and raise their intensity level, or they will have more losses on the road this week.
The next two are games the Rockets will get back to playing motion offense. I predict the team will win both games. A day to rest and go over tape will do them some good.
Exactly !! He is just not a leader !! Great player but not a leader.......... Kobe can take a game over 9-10 times and thats what makes them different !!
Not what I meant, I was being sarcastic, but to not appreciate what that kind of streak does to teams...it's in the books and I believe it was talked about on the daily dime on espn.com today. It's extremely draining and you should have expected a bad slump when we finally lost. The trade this guy, or this guy is horrible comments are unwarrented b/c we didn't see none of it when we were winning.
some fans here cant stand the fact that our best player has some serious flaws in his game and personality. He is a really good player... no doubt about it.... but comon... You people act is if Mcgrady can do no wrong.... and you guys will be riding this 22 game winning streak for like 2 years now... I can see it now... 08-09 season disapointed fan - " Mcgrady isnt showing much effort in tonights game " Mcgrady nut hugger "get of the ****ing bandwagon!!! Mcgrady has tired legs from the 22 game winning streak!!"
I'll agree to that...Tmac is not the person to carry a team, except when Tmac believes in himself that he can do it. Where as a great leader believes that he can carry a team at any time and performs to the expectations presented. Tmac I think just needs a good therapist and he should be fine...
