Could this be the turning point the other way around for the season now from last night's halftime. It seems that way because it was tied at halftime and then the game turned around. What do you guys think? (It's a crazy theory)

No, difference being that this team now knows how to win.

And what did we do for 3 qtrs tonight?

It's no shock that they're running out of juice in the second halfs, after that exhausting run, and against 2 of the best teams in the league.

    Turning point for what?

Last I checked, the Rockets were doing alright. A 2-game losing streak after a 22-game winning streak still represents a mind-bogging 0.916 winning percentage.

But don't you remember the old Rockets. We used to have leads, and we then gave them up and we lost games. I just got this theory from another poster on another forum though. I just wanted to see the reaction from the people over here at Clutchfans.

The streak was great, but they haven't played really good for 5 games now. The Lakers game was simply luck that everything Rafer through up went in. They need to turn back to moving the ball and get the ball out of TMac's hands. He dribbles the ball til there are 5-7 seconds left and puts his guys in a bad position to make a play.

I think we're running our best defensive lineup to the ground. The movement off the ball flattens out after the first half. Are Head and Brooks that bad with ball control and defense?

consistency? 22 winning streak ain't that bad...

come on.. lighten up. the "GREAT" lakers, lost 4 out of their next 6... sure, this damn standings are killing us, but what the hell... this year, we are just willing our ways to the playoffs and hopefully through the playoffs. next year, with yao and francis and whoever we pick up, we can start doing what we were suppose to do this season.

He doesn't mean WL consistency he means individual player consistency, I hope, otherwise I agree, only 6 losses.

It is scary to think that the Rox are that reliant upon Landry but it does seem that the Rox offensive efficiency has dropped a lot since Landry has been out.

Well in that case ya..but every night there has been someone stepping up whether it is Landry, Jackson, Harris, Rafer, or Battier...i think the main issue is just our drained team...we will be fine and back on track esp when Landry is back on the court!

Agreed. CL is a good balance to this team. Watch out GS.

I think the team needs to just get a nice rest and some break. If we can pick up one game from either the Suns or Warriors, then I am a happy camper. This is a brutal strength we are in and if can out out of it 2-3, then that fine with me. We just need to move the ball more though. T-Mac is being hounded by the double teams early on and the ball stops at the top of the arc for 3-5 seconds. We need more cutters and slashers. And we need Landry back. I love Chuck Hayes and that defense, but with him and Scola out there all we have are layups. We need some monster dunks to pump the rest of the team up!

Your right, it's scary that we have to rely on a second round pick to bring energy and enthusiasm to the game.
