I noticed our offensive output has dropped considerably these past 5 games. Our assist totals for those 5 games were 11,13,16,16,17. I'm not sure whats going on, but our assist average before those 5 games were well above 20. Our defense is still keeping us in, but its frankly quite frustrating to watch the team play. I don't know why we stopped our ball movement, but I hope Adelman knows what happened and that we can go back to our 100+ scoring games. I think the streak got to our head and that we start forcing bad shots.

    One quick observation...

McGrady wasn't getting doubled as hard...

And fatigue was an obvious factor. Open shots/layups were there, just that the Rockets couldn't finish.

No energy, fatigue, winning 22 straight games in a row took a lot out of our guy's unless you want superman to fly in here with his cape.

Teams changed the way they defend Rockets. They are more concerntrated on defending pick'n roll and 3 pointers. Our insde players can't do enough damage one on one.

teams are now doubling tmac when ever he get the ball forcing him to made the pass, and shooter missed open jump shot. Poor rotation by the coachs, for example failure to replace game plan when the the game plan fails made much needed rotation.

You also have to remember that whenever a team faces us now they bust their gut to beat us. That goes part in parcel with being a top team in the West coming off a 22 game win streak

Good defenses will stop the Rox if McGrady is the only scoring option. Without any kind of inside threat, because no Yao or Landry, the other team forces outside shots only. And when the threes aren't falling, Rox lose.

Ball movement is stagnant and there does not seem to be any off the ball movement or cutting towards the basket, made worse because guys like Hayes and Deke aren't guarded closely.

Perhaps if Landry plays against Golden State some of the motion will return.

I don't agree. I don't think we're getting quality shots at all. McGrady is back playing at half-speed, and the rest of the team just isn't very good offensively.

The Rockets only have one player with decent size who can create shots (T-Mac). All their other "playmakers" are small guards. So when the other team uses a bigger lineup, we're always going to have deficient offensive if we try to match up with them defensively. I think that's what has happened the last two games. Ideally, it would be nice to play Alston and Jackson/Head together, along with T-Mac and Battier/Novak. But the matchups hasn't allowed us to go to that combination.

It's not just missing open 3 pointers. No one is penetrating or attacking the lane. It's so obvious that we need to use Novak and Brooks to help out a little.

I think the movement is not there. The ball is not zipping side to side right now, and as a result, the assists are down.

Rafer is r****ded! Adelman needs to play Brooks! Wake up! We won't go to anywhere this season. The coaches should continute to develop the rookies!
