The Dynamo take on CSD Municipal of Guatemala this Wednesday as part of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The first leg ended 0-0 in Guatemala. We're missing Davis (Hamstring), Holden, and Ianni (Olympic Qualifying).
I covered the game today and the the CDC coach was so pissed they lost; that he sent their trainer to do the interview. We were all looking around like, "are you serious?"
UH was on break this week, but the next round will also be at Robertson. They were able to work out a deal to play there. We'll find out tomorrow who our next opponent is, I'm hoping for Atlante since a road trip to Cancun would be kind of nice.
We'll be playing Saprissa from Costa Rica. Not only do I miss out on my Cancun vacation but Saprissa has a really good homefield advantage due to their field turf and crazy fans. Speaking of their crazy fans, one of the Atlante players got hit in the head with something thrown from the crowd and got a cut just above his eye. They could face some form of punishment for that from CONCACAF.
