itz not about a single game. it is about the tough schedule in coming 3 days, the remaining 16 games, the play off run, the momentum in playoff.

It didn't work for tmac and whole team tonight, why would you push yourself so hard and in vain at the end with another tough but winnable game with less than 24 hours.

He is never a loser mentally, and never lack of desire to win and carry his team when it is big time. He gets his plan and understanding of this whole thing. I bet you dont understand that very well.

OMG stfu, man YAO IS OUT FOR THE SEASON. Why posting something like this? Yao won't come back and you know that as well as I do.

As for McGrady. Ok teammates didn't make their shoots, but generallny the team crashed in the 2nd half. And it is McGrady's task to carry the load when other players are not feeling it at all. First he needs to think about himself, cause when you are best player on the team, one of better scorers in the leauge, wneh you are involved in MVP conversation you just have to do better than 8 points for the whole game. And what's more you couldn't say Tracy was not feeling it against Boston cause hell he only attempted 11 shoots. Are you kidding me? He is our best scorer, ne needs to score 20+ every single night. Come on Tracy. Season in the NBA is tough but you've been here for 11 seasons.

To be very honest, making the "tired" excuse is the last thing you want to hear from a leader or something you hear very often from a superstar. But apparently, he no longer tells the world he is the leader of the team. Even if he is not the leader, how do the coach and your fellow teammates feel when their best player complaining being "tired"? This is where we miss Yao.

THis is TMac being TMac. [Sigh....] Les seriously needs to look into trading him in the coming offseason before his value dramatically diminishes.

During the streak Tracy was the best for you, he was MVP, real leader. Aftef team lost a lot of people say 'Trade McGrady...etc'. That is ridicilous.....it really is.

You wouldn't have said this if we had won game against Boston, would you?

honey, I think people complain about TMAC not because we lost the game, but because the way we lost and the way TMAC played in the game.....

Silly thread. As a Yao fan I still have to defend Tmac. Without both Yao and Landry and the 3-pts don't fall last night Tmac was very well defended by the Celtics. When he tried to go inside there were already like 3 Celtic players standing at the foul line saying hello to him. This is basically the same situation faced by Yao when Tmac was out and before Scola was used as the starter. I don't care how good you're, you need at least one other teammate to be reliable offensive threat to get some room to play your game.

It's actually not necessarily a bad thing to end the streak right now. A streak can drain the players both mentally and physically. Right now this team may lose a couple of more games here and there, but it gives them plenty of time to eventually regroup and peak at the right time in preparation for the playoff.

    I think the point is:

Winning takes care of that. It doesn't matter if he played cards or played basketball out there tonight, if we won, it would be all good.

Look for a comeback within the next 1-3 games. If there isn't one, you can give up on Tracy McGrady. (not you personally, but whoever)

I have to agree but is that a reason to again start with all those 'trade tmac' points? Several days ago Tracy was basketball's God for them...

I'm ok with the fatc that we lost this game. I mean of course it is more painful than anything else cause after winning 22 in a row you fell like you team can simply everything and you are pretty sure they won't lose anymore. But I'm ok with it, we lost to the best team in the nba, everything has its beggining and also the end.

But you are right. The way we lost this game was just unforgettable. The game was on the line, at half it was tied at 40. And from the start of the 3rd Rockets just GAVE UP. Totally gave it up so the Boston didn't have any problems with winning it. I hate it, really cause we should be motivated after winning 22 in a row.

And the way Tracy played that game was.....damn i don't even know how to call it. Everytime he got the isolation insted of looking to drive, make jumpshoot he made two dribbles and passed the ball. Hopefully he will just wak up tonight cause 8 points and only 11 attempts are ridiciolous

Then I would say that people need to open their eyes and work out that neither Adelman nor T-mac really had an answer for the way they rotated and hustled him out of the game. Its like how Kobe really had no answer against us the other day. They played good defence on T-mac that is all there is to it.

I starting to wonder if people on here are just plain stupid.Tmac had to play two 48 mins gm last week with an 40 min gm.This is the most important thing too.Tmac said he was tired during the lakers gm not the celtics u idiots.LMAO saying ur teammates need to start making shots is not throwing anyone under bus.Did u see them miss layups like crazy yesterday?I have seen many BB players through the years say they need teammates to make shots. How is that throwing ur teammates under the bus?

Tmac is who he is, sometimes when he gets punched in the mouth he gives in.....

That happened last night.....but not just to Tmac...to the entire team.

When KG was still in the game and the team was up 20 and he came down the lane, someone should have put him on his ARSE...but they didn't......

This team still needs to toughen up a little more.

Still 22 games is great, tonight is another test...against a less talented but dangerous team.

Let's hope the team can regroup.

Most Rockets fans dislike T-mac but love the rockets. Tracy has a mentality of a loser bottom line. Dude only scored 8 points and has the nerve to make excuses while pushing it off on his teammates. maybe YOU got make shots.

+1. There are a lot of sensitive little girls here that just want to hate on T-Mac. What's he supposed to say? "Good game. We did everything right??"

This IS, and will continue to be, a great run. That is the main thing here. Keep up the good works guys. This is fun!

BUT, McGrady has once a gain proved he is a very nice man with amazing basketball talent and no longer any ability to translate it to dominating a game when it needs to happen. McGrady is NOT a superstar and never will be. Can you imagine Steve Francis' heart in McGrady's body? That would be a superstar.

Tracy has learned how to do two things as he has gotten older. One is settle for jump shots. Secondly he has learned to pass efficiently and find the open man. While the second is admirable, it ain't worth $20 million a year. He seems more and more to be a reluctant team leader.

I was very disappointed with all the media, local and national, who were holding their breath during this streak. They left unsaid what we found out last night. For this team to be successful in big games and the playoffs, we must have a go to guy. We don't have one. Say what you will about Yao, he wants the ball when it counts and can force his will on most games, especially in the fourth quarter.

Adelman's offense is clearly the reason for the success we have had. It has taken us far and been fun. I thought it might take us farther than we have gone in the past. Unfortunately, we have some good supporting talent. We do not have very good supporting talent or at least not enough of it.

    Go Rox.
