Scottie Pippen had back problems too. Should that give him a pass for being a quitter?

Do you think all back problems are identical?

    Do you have scoliosis?

Do you remember how explosive and aggressive McGrady was early in his career? Well, he is only 29 now. Maybe, he is not a quitter. Maybe, he will just never be the same and it is beyond his control. Maybe, he just doesn't want to use it as an excuse.

I'm just saying, there could be another explanation for what many describe as McGrady's "lack of heart". Are you even willing to consider that possibility? What if it is the absolute truth?

You try to turn every thread into a Tmac Vs Yao or Tmac fans Vs Yaos fans. Why do you try to be destructive here? Your low self-esteem and acute inferiority complex is obviously hurting your fragile soul badly.

I'm with you BrooksBall, its just rediculous to me that someone could watch Tracy when he played for the raptors and magic and think he is physically the same player. He should be in his prime right now but unfortunately he can hardly get around people. Even when people think he is being very aggressive and playing with "heart" it always seems to be against a slow/short/bad defender.

We should be amazed that he plays as well as he does with his lack of atheleticism. There was a time when he was the most atheletic player in the nba and he's far from it now.

If you say he has a "lack of heart" then don't say its because he can't get around his man, can't move laterally, and doesn't dive on the floor for loose balls and shatter his back. He's not Kobe or Lebron or even Paul Pierce as far as slashing but he is Tmac and that's got us this far and I'm proud of him, Scoliosis and all.

I agree. After 2 bad game (1 of them was abig win) everybody started blaming Tracy. Well he wasn awful as a scorer against Boston but give him some credit for 8 rebs and 7 asist.

Hopefully it was just day off for him, he needs to carry us especially in big games like we will have now.

Well why da HELLLLL do we still have this guy on our team if hes projected to be like that? Hate me for saying this, but his stock value is at a high point right now so why dont we let this guy go if this season does not work out. I rather see some young athletic players in our team. Guys like Landry and brooks. Lets face it. Yao isnt getting any younger and he'll probably hit his prime next year. He probably have another good 3-5 good years left so lets not waste his time anymore. Big men come once a decade.

maybe superstar names, they weren't really playing all that well and were very old.

I wouldn't consider the people those teams got back superstars but they're better players than shaq and kidd. I think they're play after the trades shows that.

Devin Harris is better than Jason Kidd. Shawn Marion is better than Shaq. If you're looking at it the other way around i don't think the mavs or the suns got good value from their respective trades. Why would you trade a good player for a worser player who is 36 yr old?
