23 straight or not, thank you Rockets.
It was an amazing, historic run.

Now let's make some noise in the post season.

man seriously, as much as i like houston rockets and tmac, today's performance by t-mac is just rediculous. i didn't even see him try to take a shot in the third quater? atleast force one or two shots to try to get into rhythm man. fuc*

i was just adding it up. of the last 3 games (including tonight)

    t-mac:

    48 12-25
    39 4-16
    34 4-11

121 minutes played (out of 144 possible minutes), and 20 for 52 shooting (38%).

this isn't the end of the season. look back in jan, people would have expected us to take 2 or MAYBE 3 out of the the 5 games we played in this week. we're still sitting pretty, and we're still in first place.

Boston's defense is really good cuz of their assistant coach, who had been Houston's for several years. Rox tonight only scored under 80... If there is a big guy in the paint, we'd better have Yao cuz he can attract two defenders. In the playoffs, i wish we won't meet Spurs, Mavs, Hornets, or Lakers, but who knows, maybe Landry is enough to release Scola so that our paint would be much stronger.

It was a great run. Now it's time.

Time to get realistic. We can beat them in the Finals. The good thing was we beat LA.

The best part about this loss is that we can start working on becoming the only team in NBA history to hold two streaks of consecutive 20+ wins.

Except there are only 15 games left in the season. Playoffs do not count for the streak.

Honestly, i'm suprised we didn't lose earlier. Scola, Hayes, and Harris looked like midgets compared to KG and Powe. How we've been able to outrebound teams in our 22 game streak is a testament to how hard we play.

The loss was expected. This was the best defense team we had played since we lost Yao, and Tracy and Rafer had off nights. It happens. I'm actually sort of glad we got blown out too, because it could help them get their energy again for the next 3, won't be as crushing as say losing the streak on an amazing Boston play in crunch time or blowing a lead, and could give the team more motivation if the national media starts to doubt the Rockets again.

Now lets take down the Hornets.
