I didn't mean one particular player; if you take 20mil off your books it gives some major flexibility to the GM. I don’t think T-Mac is the one to take us to the promise land, that’s with Yao in the line-up.

Anyway Rockets will win against the Hornets, 102 - 97. We just play well against that team.....

this is going to be the toughest game of the season, mentally.

i don't know what the players are feeling, but i felt we were invincible over the last month +, and that's gone. my heart would have told you, we'd close out the season 38-0.

it'll be interesting to see how we bounce back.

Hopefully the Hornets are more depressed that they didn't get a shot at ending the Rockets streak than the Rockets are for having their streak ended.

Well back to reality. I believe they will bounce back, but I did get the wake up call and realize I might have to cough up the $100 bucks. :D

Despite the loss today, the Rox are still in good position to get a 1 2 or 3 seed. We still have a great opportunity to win the division. The Hornets play the Celtics after they play the Rox. So if the Rox beat the Hornets and the Celtics then beat the Hornets, we will have a 2 game lead in the loss column over the Hornets and the Spurs, we would hold the tie breaker with the Hornets and we would be three games ahead of Dallas. On January 3 when we were 15-17 and in tenth place in the West, who would have thought we would even be close to this position. I do not see us winning less than 55 games, which should be enough to bet the 3 seed.

Hard lost tonight but this back to back game can hold in our confidence. The standings will be very tight if Rockets lose this one.

Big game - I think we got this though. Hopefully Landry will be back.

get over yourself. yes he's not the best player in the world. he's not better than kobe and lebron. we ALL know that. but those are the only 2 perimeter players who ARE better than him. so unless you get them, shut up already.

he got doubled teamed 99% of the time. did we double KG? no. did we double pierce? no.

did tim duncan get shut down to a tune of 8 pts yesterday too? YES. b/c he was doubled all over. tmac was doubled all over. the guys didn't make shots (esp. hayes for the layups) to make them think twice about the double teams.

but adelman and tmac have to look over tape to find ways to get him the ball so the double teams don't come as quick.
