The playoffs are about grit and grind. The Rockets have proven they can win that way.

Some teams are about run and gun. The Rockets have the players to match that.

You don't have to bet the house to believe the Rockets can win.

if you watched closely, t-mac was playing really hard. the moment he got the ball he was immediatly doubled, there was no way he could've gotten any shot off with how quick they came over. he was doing a pretty good job of passing out of the double as well considering boston knew exactly who was going to be open b/c right after the double they had another guy running to the open man so he was immediatly covered...

It is good timing for a loss. I wish the Rox could learn from this game and improve over the course of the rest of the season. Certainly the Rox has a lot of holes but the streak covered them. It is better to lose now than at the end of the season. Even if there would be a mini losing streak, it would prepare the Rox better for the post season.
Now who thinks Luther should play more minutes on the expense of TMac and Battier?

im a bit dissapointed that tracy didnt step it up for us but the whole team was basically shut down anyways. the reason why we were able to win the past 22 games was because for the first 12-13 we had yao and tracy playing well and the for last 10 games or so we played as a team with everyone contributing not just one individual. ah i just wished KG wasn't just a show boater with the last few baskets he had. yeah you're team won and the celtics crushed us today but was there a real need for the celtics to keep their starters (excuse Paul) in the game against houston's second string? i guess thats why their point differential is so high is because they like to stack up stats when they win. i distinctively remember us pulling our starters to rest so that we wouldn't risk injuries to them and actually be humble. Go Celtics, hope one of your big three gets injured and you come down to Earth. at least our window is bigger than theirs.

good run while it lasted though!!!!

And it's absolutely PATHETIC that there are so many empty seats with 5 minutes left to play. The team deserves a standing ovation after the game.

How can you blame our players for not having a HCA when we have so many fair-weather fans?

Tmac really let me down tonight, this lose was all on him. Damn, I can accept a lose but can't swallow it when your most important player would not give it a good fight. Anyway anyhow, I would like to thank the Rockets for putting up such an amazing run.

give me a break. he didn't quit, he got shut down and he had no one inside to get the ball too. never mind he led us to the top of the conference, now he has no heart? are you kidding me?

    What happened to our penetration?

Why did Tmac not penetrate, if he shoots jumpers no one else can get off.

    And why didn't Rafer penetrate?

This game was there to be taken, we were tied at half time.

If they are going to guard Tmac one on one...and that is what they did...he HAS to go off....

Man, on the flip side, Boston's D is good.

    Very good points.

Imagine if they didn't have Garnett. Totally different game.

The Rockets have to brush this off and keep doing what they were doing for the last few months.

Hopefully, we will get Landry back sooner than later. That will be a spark.

again, a sign of a great team is to see how we respond. the way we play the next 3 games will determine our potential in the playoffs.

adelman has to make adjustments to get tmac in better spots to score. tmac was defended like he was under JVG.

again, like clutch said, when you play 22 games, you will have one REALLY BAD game, esp. for a team that has won 22 in a row. this was our REALLY BAD GAME. we lost. move on. learn from it.

and it's sad to see the tmac haters come out in full force again.

the guy went 48-minute TWICE last week to give us 2 wins. he's probably really fatigued and unable to fight through all these double teams (or he could have just had a really poor 2 games). now they're saying he's heartless, gutless... and we all know who they are by their posting names.

Didn't we win 10 games without Yao before tonight? Didn't we lose to the Celtics even with Yao? ANYWAYS STOP USING THIS LOSS AS A WAY TO PROMOTE YOUR YAO! We all know we are better with Yao, but if I could choose ONLY one, TMac or Yao, I would choose TMac everyday even though he was friggin passive tonight.

To say his problem is mostly mental is crazy, he is tired. He was being double teamed the whole game. He did not have one open shot, nor did he have an opportunity to drive to the basket. Give credit to the Celtics because they took away T-Mac, the cutters and the three point line. Yao would have really helped today.

Sometimes, I think Tmac is too smart to be a winner!

Penetrate? They guarded TMac one on one? Were you even watching? They were playing zone. You cant just say penetrate and it will happen. My complaint about Tmac is he didnt SHOOT enough.

Thanks Rockets for a great 22 game streak! :p
    Headline should read
    'Celtics over Power Rockets'
Coach 'A' has a lot to learn from this game. For sure we do not have a third option who could have kept scoring while Tracy was being double teamed.
From the get go even the first play with the double tec. I was wondering if the team had it's Game Face on? Also we are a fairly short team and their tall players scored with ease over us.
    Besides all the other things!

I wonder if people would say the Celtics win was tainted because we didn't have Yao...

We win 22 in a row, and finally lose a game and it's already starting... The hating on T-Mac quotes, the hating on Adelman quotes and hating on Rafer. Give credit where credit is due. The celtics are the BEST team in the league hands down. We are undersized right now. They played great defense on T-Mac and were really good on the boards. We wont face another team like that. We are still in first place in the west.

Thank you Rockets for the great ride. Let's stay in the top 3 in the west for the playoffs and shut up the haters.

the traps only got worse after hayes missed all those layups. on 2 straight possessions in the 3rd, THREE guys were surrounding tmac and he was at the FREE THROW line, not even in the paint. they really played tmac great tonight.

i was just disappointed about the lack of screens movement for tmac. i don't know why adelman didn't call for those.
