ClutchFans Game Thread: Celtics @ Rockets 3/18/2008

This Celtics is a very complete team. The Rockets have alot of fight in them but this game is like me when I was 12 and holding my 7 year old brother's head at arms length while he tries to take swings at me. No matter how hard you fight, you ain't gonna win. At least we're all now back to reality.

 

Landry would have given us a chance.

 

Boston has been hitting everything in the 2nd half.

 

damn, this is the first game in a while that has made me realize why it's so nice to have a great big man like Yao out there. 22 games is still ridiculous though.

 

our frontcourt is just too small

 

THIS team is dumb...losing by 21 and dribbling out the shot clock...drive it to the basket!

Scola is really impressive, he plays hard every single possession. He is the reason we are 22-0. Book it.

I guess Coach A saw he was full of poo-poo tonight.......

 

This game exposed us in so many ways. How big guys are owning us hard inside. KG, powe is just playing with little kids out there, having their ways, while Scola trys so hard to score 2 points. We're missing yao to be champs. We might not even get to the 2nd round in the playoffs this year because our inside presense sucks. We rely on shooters and thats not good. Thats the whole reason why the lakers got pau, the suns got shaq. Boston played 48 hardcore minutes yesterday vs the spurs. Today is a back-to-back game for them and the rockets are at home. We got our rest and we're getting blown out of the water in our homecourt. This sucks because tmac is barely trying. hes just driving in and passing outside hoping guys will make the basket. Its a time to get the team involve and theres a time to freaking attack. thumbs up to 22 game winning streak. thumbs down to tmac playing like a schoolgirl. I'm out.

 

I wouldn't count on Landry saving this season.

 

There is absolutely no shame in losing to the best team in the league, a team that is going to be 7-0 against the best division in basketball, a team with the number one defense in the NBA.

 

Man, Scola's really having a problem hanging on to the ball tonight.

You're looking at the next NBA Champs, so get used to the Celtics kicking everyone's butt.

 

No big deal. Rockets would probably rather play the mavs in the playoffs anyway.

 

I knew our streak won't last forever, but common!!!!! don't let this be a frekain blowout lose to the Celtic!!!!

 

Can we not kill Tmac for this game? I mean let's give the Celtics some credit. They are by far the better team tonight.

 

too many posters were getting terribly cocky before this game.

 

After watching these guys turn it up the past two nights, I agree.
