I prefer Davis than Woods. Davis is stronger and bigger, we already had tried a Woods type of player (justin will)

yeah, out of those two dale is a better option. we just need a tall center who can play defense and bodyup.

what we need is a backup for deke. (can't believed i said that, but i have to)

Antonio Davis wouldn't play outside Chicago last I heard...right? Or was that only PJ Brown? Can't remember now, but I could swear there was some stipulation with AD

Probably one of Morey's secret moneyball picks.

I say go ahead with it...I mean, everyone was hatin on drafting Landry and Brooks last summer...

Once again i think Morey is reading what i type on this board. Even before yao went out, i brought up a coupls of names, McCoy,Woods, and Brown. PJ for his veteran leadership and playoff know how and either Woods or Mccoy for atheletic big guys to take minutes from Ming and add a some size. I even created a thread on the lack of size by the rox. Look i know they play great team defense, but once deke goes out, teams can get to the rack and finish becaue the rox have no one that can blks a shot or even challenge. At the vey least woods, mccoy or even chris alexander of the d-league can do that.

Call me crazy, but never underestimate the drive of a 7'+ big to rebound, block shots, dunk and draw 6 fouls against our division rivals.

    Loren for the mfw.

You are probably right. Are there anymore reasonably "good" BIG in the league? It would be good if Rockets could check them out and see whether
any can help. Cato seemed reasonable and I wonder whether Adelman can improve his offensive deficiency?

Hello no ( and i'm just basing my opinion on the video )... Can he even jump? The man is 7 feet + and doesn't even seem like a threat in the post.. Where was the attempt to slam the ball? I hate to say it but Yao looks like he has more ups than this dude.

Anyone remember him in the draft? Everyone passed on him, then Minnesota took him in the second round. A bunch of the the media started claiming other teams intentionally passed to allow Minnesota to get him. That was the year they lost the first rounder due to promising future compensation to Wally S.

Hmm. Looks like there was another reason every team passed on him.

We need a hard working tough minded player, who can be physical with some athleticism and a high IQ.
Loren Woods is the opposite of all those things.

I think you're right. The choices are very slim.

This video should win a grammy for such energy, diligence, aggresiveness and never quit attitude displayed in it
