Not quite sure what y'all are talking about. When St. Patrick's day (or any feast/solemnity day), occurs during Holy Week, it is moved because days of Holy Week rank above all others. This week is NOT Holy Week. Holy Week is the week preceding Easter Sunday.

In 2008, the Solemnity of St. Patrick fell on Monday of Holy Week and it was moved to the 15th, certainly sooner than 50 years ago.

Well I made it 42 years.

My dad's dad died at 57 of a heart attack. He was a vegetation.

My dad died at 50 of a heart attack. He was a vegetarian.

Following the family curve this is the year I die of a heart attack.

    I'm having steak for lunch.

    Happy St. Patricks day everyone.
