thanks for the photos pryuen. They are always a favorite of mine. The best photo was landry not wearing the knee brace.
Hayes has got to be working on those freethrows, ever since Scola started starting. Chuck doesn't do the leg-jerk back anymore in the middle of his FT form, which was the ugliest part of his old style. He's actually making them these days!
I don't know why but I don't think I say this often enough... Thanks Pruyen! ps. what is Scola doing? Taking a test?
He probably wore the brace when the Rockets were really practicing rather than just shoot free throws.
how can you tell that from those pictures? he worked out saturday, im doubting he wandered around clutching his knee. sorry to be negative....
Dude why is chuck shooting free throws alone. He needs a free throw coach. It saddens me watching him get clowned on national tv.
Free throws, more free throws. Every practice picture is about free throw drills. They just have to start making them in real games. Man, I'm pumped up for this team. If anything that worries me it's the free throws. Come playoff time it'll be a huge factor...
I know what you mean. I always have a hearty laugh when he makes them after getting dogged. He plays all out, so I'm not going to laugh at him over it. That said, it is dog ugly.
Dude its uglier then Charles Barkleys golf swing. Thats saying a lot! I love his hustle but man youre a NBA player theres no reason not to work on that form!
thanks pryuen i got a question though. how come all the pictures make it seem as if the court is slanted. like its slanting to the left or something.
Think about the ruckus from the crowds and announcers, national and local, when Chuck Hayes gets to shoot two free throws. Imagine it. Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, Toyota Center. Rockets down by 1, 9 seconds left. Novak passes in to TMac. Chuck Hayes sets a pick. Tracy gets trapped by a triple team. He has to get the ball out of there. He jets the ball to the rolling Hayes. There are two seconds left; Chuck has to put this up. He goes up for the lay-in, but his right arm is grabbed by Duncan. Whistle (and Duncan knows he didn't commit the foul). Chuck Hayes to the line for two. And thus, despite everything that's happened in the NBA this season, this would be its most insane moment.
