Travel Map - Where have you been to?

You make me hate life. I've never been outside the US.

 

Don't feel too bad. While I was in college, I met some people who hadn't even been out of Texas.

That kind of freaked me out.

I really hope that I can travel more once I graduate from college. Hopefully a nice consulting job will do the trick.

 

I knew a guy who at age 15 had yet to have been on a plane before.

OK, I only included places I've gone on vacation and/or lived. I'm sure we could all add in a ton of random small towns that we've been to.

The places on my map that I included simply because I've lived/gone to school there:

Seminole, OK (born here)
Fort Apache, AZ (lived here from kindergarten through third grade)
Texarkana, TX (I also Included the AR side, even though I never technically lived there. I lived here from 4th grade through graduation of HS)
Conway, AR (I went to undergrad here, so I lived here for 9 months out of the year four years. University of Central Arkansas)
New Boston, TX (I never really lived here, but my family moved to this small town about twenty minutes outside of Texarkana after I had left for college)
Fayetteville, AR (This is the first place I've lived on my own year round since I graduated high school. I go to law school at the University of Arkansas).

As you can tell, there is a glaring hole on my map in the eastern part of the US. I'm really excited to say that I'm going to be visiting a friend of mine that goes to school in Boston in less than 24 hours. This will be my first place in the northeast that I've ever visited. Hopefully I can hit up several other places in the NE US in the future.

Pretty good? You lucky b*stard. My parents were never financially well enough to travel with me much. While I don't blame them, but when I have own children, I would do everything I can to explore the world with them. Parents now days really have no idea how beneficial it is to travel with their kids. A playstation is no substitute for the experiences you get from traveling. I feel bad for the people who haven't been out of Texas all their life.

 

I won't even make a map. I live in Arkansas. I have been to Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Mexico. Man I need to travel more.
