Me too. This streak is nice but playing Tracy "I was tired" McGrady big minutes (48 minutes in 2 of the last 4 games leading up to today's) is asking for an injury or for him to gas out in the playoffs. Another thing that may be missed by Adelman's staff is the fact that when Tmac is tired he isn't happy and when he isn't happy he doesn't give much effort. Watching him play on the defensive end today made me want to strangle him. It was arguably the worst defensive effort I have seen by an individual in years. Adelman moved him around trying to cover for his lazy-ass defense but he still kept making guys look like superstars when he was guarding them.

we have 4 games in 5 nights coming up. i'm not sure rafer's going to be putting up 30 all of these games while mcgrady carries around tired legs. we're going to have to cut down on his minutes and limit his practice if we're going to get full throttle t-mac come playoff time.

Phil Jackson tried to play Kobe 48 minutes, but gave up in the last minute. Adelman is already cutting T-Mac's minutes. T-Mac didn't play 48 mins in the game.

I know Tracy was given the day off after the Hornets game.I don't know about today. The problem is obvious, our lack of depth forces Tracy to be on the court for extended minutes almost every night. If the coach doesn't do that we can't win.
This stretch is brutal with 2 back to backs and 3 road games plus Boston coming up at home. Tracy might need a rest from practice after every game just to get through it.

Well are you really going to blame him? The guy needed and IV drip after the previous game. T-Mac has been stepping up his defense lately and I don't know if he ever does anymore but he can play lockdown D if he wants. I'm sure he will shut down someone on the opposing end come playoff time, that's if Shane "DPOY" Battier doesn't get to them first.

Don't forget to mention that T-Mac was getting blitzed every play, and he doesn't have the energy to run circles around them...

he got a nice long rest in the second qtr and the team was able to maintain and build the lead...the fact that they were leading after 3 quarters with tmac doing soo little scoring is a testament to the TEAM. but we are gonna need Mac for the upcoming stretch...to sets of back to backs against 3 western playoff teams and the best team in the NBA.

i am think he knows that this stretch is crucial for the season forget the streak...the streak will be justified if they get through the next 4 games i dont care. but i have a feeling he will be fine.

That's kind of scary. :( Coach really needs to cut down his minutes.

This suspect thread from HoopChina had been deleted.
From these games, T-mac may feel tired, it is reasonable. Clutch, you can lock this thread and stop disturbing our mentality.

i think, TMAC should be given more time to rest,

every game 48minutes is really tough before the playoff...

What if TMAC got injured? think about it, guys

Dude, that is classic. In before the Lock 32. That process is just faulty as ever.

Wow a lot of you are a bunch of jerks to this guy. He was honestly concerned and for the guy that criticized his grammar step back and think for a minute. He said he saw it in the chinese forum that would mean he is mostly likely not native to the U.S. thus grammar isn't great.

Now for all you mean people you're actually all wrong. In the middle of the fourth quarter JVG mentioned T-Mac's knee problem and how it could be bothering him (they then cut to T-Mac standing on the court massaging his kneecap and stretching his leg. I don't think it is anything but I can see where someone might think it is.

Tmac wanted to play and I think the coaches no better than us what to do. By the way are you really a Rocket fan. You have alot of very very negative tendencies.
