Hopefully Bobby Jackson will make a difference in a couple of games in the playoffs. I'm not sure how much gas is left in the tank but games like today give some hope. Next year we MUST get a PG that will hit open shots. When our PGs shoot well, it is very hard to beat the Rockets.
...Can we not ressurect this thread everytime BJax has a good game? Seriously, I thought this was dead. And I'm glad it was, since instead of encouraging any debate it was all just "hey ur negative sthu." As thread creator, I would really like it to stay dead. Should I bump it everytime BJax has a terrible, 1-10 game? His 30%ish shooting suggests that there will be a lot more of those then some of these :/
what you gonna say after this game against the Lakers? people gotta stop jumping into a conclusion so easy. responsibilities!
If you watched him in Sacramento Jackson's always run hot and cold. He's streaky. But he can come off the bench and instantly provide a spark and he's always tough on D. And when he's hot he's on fire. There's a reason he won the sixth man award.
It was worth getting him just for this game! Hope we see many more clutch performances from Bobby... on into June.
One more thing: back in Sacramento if you were playing against the Kings Jackson was just about the last guy you wanted to see get hot. I was hugely disappointed when he left.
What I call Bobby Jackson is the momentum shifter. He always seems to make the big shots that swing the momentum, or kills the other teams momentum and I don't think others recognize that. He may be in a little slump, but he came out tonight and killed it, hitting the big shots. Good Pickup.
I don't think so. Landry plays so well in these games, he is an important guy in Rockets. Although yao wasn't on the court these games, his statistic is good for Rockets!
