    even after 22 game win streak we are only 4 1/2 games ahead

    Love the Rockets this win streak will be valuable in the playoffs too

    First Time Ever to Be First

    Isn't this the first time in their history that the Houston Rockets have been the first seed in the West prior to the playoffs. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the Rockets have ever been first in the regular season. Discuss.

    Um...its way too early. You could argue we were first when we went on that 15-0 start in the 95 (I think) season.

    Well, in '93 they started the season 15-0. I'm pretty sure they were in first place then. :D But this might be the farthest into the season that we've been #1.

    I believe it is the first time they are first in the conference so late in the season, since 1976 I think....in the Eastern Conference.

    I think the Rockets is better than the Lakers. Why?
    The Rockets continue to make history when the lost one of the best center in the game as well as Landry. The Lakers can't.
