That's like being asked to choose which one of your kids die (Kidding! I am aware that is being greatly exaggerated). I don't think I could. Landry has a tremendous inside presence, but Scola has those nifty moves. I know what we can do! We take both Scola and Landry. We put Landry in a matter teleporter and at the same time, put Scola in there as well. When both Scola and Landry emerge, they will have merged into a two-headed monster! Like so: Well, you get the drift...
Here's a situation. We empty a gym, except for Scola, Landry, and you. The rules are simple. They each get to take turns punching you. The last guy to punch you before you pass out (or die... whatever) has to sit out next year. Fair?
Sigh.... ai_111, just count your blessings that we are able to have BOTH of them now for this year. And let's pray that both develops into even better players and men and are around with the Rockets for a long long time. Like the Rockets take one game at a time, with the players, the fans should also take one season at a time.
Okay, I'll play your silly little game. Scola. He's figured out how to stay out of foul trouble and Landry hasn't. Landry's knee is still somewhat of a concern to me as well. And Scola has that maturity that the international play has given him. I do think in the long run Landry may be a better player though.
The thing about Scola and Landry is that they compliment each other so greatly in every aspect of their careers. One is younger and more athletic, but the other is old and a bit more experienced in terms of winning big games. One throws down ferocious dunks and rejects people, while the other lays it up and takes charges. One depends on his insane leaping ability while the other uses finese and footwork. One is bald, and the other has jungle-hair! ( ). And that is why we need to have both on this team. You can't have a Ying without a Yang!
Why does it matter who was more important? The team is winning, playing good basketball, and both these guys are contributing to the success. Leave it at that.
I think maybe... There is another famous PF from another team available for the rocket in the summer. But they want one of our rookie PF to exchange. Remember in one thread two weeks ago, a lot of famous players will be free agent this summer, so...
What if either Scola or Landry were going to be abducted by aliens? An alien ambassador would visit earth and tell Stern that either Landry or Scola had to be taken for 151 garnicks (that's about 11.5 months) and forced to be the PF for the Martian Planetary team in the upcoming Intergalactic Championship. Who would you choose? Scola, Landry or see if Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum could upload a virus into the aliens' mother ship that would allow their alien drone vessels to be susceptible to our weapons?
That's why I hate Stern so much. He hates the rockets and is out to do everything he can to take the rockets down.
Umm...it should. People are being hard on you, sure, but it's mostly because they're trying to save you from embarassing yourself. Listen, this is a damn good message board by "sports fan site" standards, and you have to post (especially when starting threads) at a certain level of quality. That's why rookies can't post threads, for example. So I apologize for being harsh, but this thread needs to have an effect on you. It's in everyone's best interest that it does. For you specifically, continuing to produce low quality threads/posts will only devalue your opinion and then it won't matter what you have to say. (this sounds like dialogue from that show Intervention)
You exaggerated too much . this thread cant reach that high . the worst are : NO1. poll : would you trade T-MAC ? NO2. who think we are better w/o yao ?
