i think this is the first time tmac is as confident as ever in himself and the team. the last time tmac played kobe well was in 04-05 when he would score 25-29 pts on the lakers.
dude............kobe is a beast!!!!!!!!!!! that dude wants to break that streak so bad, that he can taste it......... that was a great interview.. LMAO at "I dont care about that streak"..............who u trying to fool kobe, us?.......or yourself??...............lol
I hate the fact that one of the reporters was telling Kobe "Tracy said that you deep down want to break the streak". Like Tracy is so insecure about Kobe. Reporters suck. They ask stupid questions. The act like a bunch of gossiping high school chicks.
I've always liked Jackson, and even hoped we could get him here, but he was so arrogant and condescending, amused at the media coverage, like he was so above it, and having to deal with a small market. ... geez
bet kobe will "give a damn" about the streak when it hits 22. i cant stand that guy. btw, did anyone else notice the dude behind kobe? he was getting pretty exasperated trying to get a word in
Apparently T-Mac loves challenges to because he has literally carried the Rockets the last few games.
lmao @ jonathan Feigen behind kobe the entire interview bobbing and weaving desperately trying to get in a question over the national media that kobe knows what's clear from the interview is that kobe hasn't been sitting at home watching many rockets games, or the lakers haven't look at film yet. the only thing he had to say about houston was that they outwork guys. said houston lacked the shooters of past adelman teams (haha how many 3s did houston take v charlotte) and this team has an inside presence it can throw inside to
Totollay agree, I used to like him when he was coach of the bulls team, looked like a smart and humble guy. but ever since he became the head coach of lakers, he's been so different, and those fancy little glasses. maybe, being coach of someone like kb, you have to be like this.
what possible difference could that make? are you under the impression that houston is going to abandon the gameplan that's carried it to 21 wins because kobe isn't impressed? if you've either not A) watched any rockets game the past 10 games or B) ever played on a basketball team or you'd know that C) shooters keep shooting, eventually they'll hit their shots the entire run has been built on the back of outside shooting opening up the inside. because we have no yao that's the only way we can free up the middle kobe saying houston doesnt shooters is tactically INCORRECT no other way to put it. we have shooters, their shots haven't been falling for the past 2 games. kobe didn't say "their shots haven't been falling" basically he's thinking this is the same team as last year when we had yao in the middle and tmac on the wing and nothing outside. this aint that team as for whether they're scared who the hell cares? if kobe loses he'll regret having taken it lightly if he wins he'll have been right. either way it's settled
I got about half-way through it. Couldn't stomach the rest. Those cocky bastards are going down tomorrow!
If Kobe popped off 21 straight he surely would care, as would every reporter covering sports. Not only is streak a great thing for Houston, Kobe. It is a great thing for the NBA in general. Not only has Kobe not done this, but neither has Jordan,Bird,Magic,Hakeem, Drexler, Pippen. Houston IS in elite company if they like it or not!
He's always been a lonely little prick. He doesn't even get along with his old Knick teammates. In the offseason he hides out up high in his Montana cabin, distanced from all the unlearned human masses.
