well the seats are red in color and you can see plenty of red on the image, but couldn't tell if it is empty seats.
Actually, the Canadian flag should be there since the Aeros are playing Canadian teams. The Canadian national anthem is played for them before these games. Also, the picture was taken this year (there was red paint inside the keys last year).
Egg Zack Lee™ I was at Game 1 & Game 7 last year & it was NO WHERE NEAR RED ENOUGH. I don't understand people *NOT* wearing red?!?!
Jeebus, man, people just like to 31†¢4 about ANYTHING. Just from someone posting that the Rockets have added a splash page recognizing this team's noteworthy accomplishment, people have complained about: Links to sell tickets on, dare I say it, their own web page. The lighting The parking Attendance (to games they probably don't go to, this gets especially old) Amount of Noise or lack of it How many people wear red (The picture is awfully red, but some people just want to dredge up old stuff) The Canadian Flag being there (Does it really BOTHER You?) Whether the 20 happened at the ToyBox or if the "nod" is misleading And now, I am complaining about the complainers.... This is in two pages... come ON people, 'your' team is beating the odds and achieving improbable feats and the organization is giving them respect and getting fans excited about what they've done (and sure, capitalizing a bit trying to sell a few tickets, what do you expect they should try to sell tickets when the team LOSES 20 in a row?) and all I hear is whining about this and complaining about that. It's somewhat irritating really. I thought it was cool that they got something up there that quickly to at least acknowledge the streak. It's funny.... Parking, Lighting, Bits (butts in the seats), shirt colors, canadian flags, ticket sales links... none of it came to mind for me, much less bothered me, and certainly if it did it would not bother me enough to complain about such petty things here in a thread that was started to just show that the streak was officially recognized at the site.
If the NBA doesn't make a national "Where ___ wins in a row happens" ad for the playoffs this year, their head of marketing guy should be fired. I can see it now: a picture of Yao going down for the season: "Where Heartbreak Happens" picture of the fans with signs : "Where Believing Happens" Rick Adelman quietly sitting in his chair during a game: "Where Chemistry Happens" montage of the Rockets celebrating: "Where Overcoming Odds Happens" the Houston Rockets: "Where __ wins in a row happens"
I don't get the Toyota Center haters. The facility itself is great, and I don't want to hear about the crowd unless you are a season ticket holder. If the "real" fans aren't at the game, what do you expect the crowd to be like?
I agree ! How is every frikin game sold out yet I swear every time I go to a game there is easily 5,000 seats open ?
Actually, the Canadian flag is mandatory at all arenas since we have a Canadian team in the league (the Raptors).
the rockets should've made a video using 'where amazing happens', instead i made one (without the piano though and freeze frames). if anyone wants to see it. let me know so you can post it since i can't post any topics.
