Driving through Houston traffic after work can be VERY stressful, so I turn to 95.7 the wave for some mellow songs... But damn was I surprised to hear a Club hitting beats and was like WTF? lol Does anybody know whats going on?
i love jazz, but finally houston has some nice house music to listen to! all the good dance music needs to stop being restricted to the east coast and move to texas!
I wonder what kind of house 95.7 will play? Just remixes of current songs or ministry of sound type of stuff...
I seem to remember the exact same thing happening to the previous jazz station we had (I forget the name of it, I think it was 98.5). They went from jazz to club music and the station didn't last very long.
If you like jazz music, do yourself a favor and get satellite radio. Seriously. There are 3-4 choices of jazz music on Sirius. KTSU is great. Saturday nights is great with Jazz Latino with Juan Flores. I often stop to consider that I might be the only Irish-American listening to Jazz Latino on KTSU. But it's great music. 95.7 didn't play great jazz music...but I'll give you they did play relaxing music. There were times I'd be driving home from a stressful day at work and flip it on there. In that sense, I'm sad to see them go.
